Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Sep 18 → 2.25/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Selaco is a brand new original shooter inspired by classics, featuring thrilling action set pieces, destructibility, smart enemies and a fleshed out story taking place within an immersive game world. It draws inspiration heavily from F.E.A.R. in terms of action set pieces, while mixing exploration elements from Half-Life, along with some more modern features.

The story takes place during a violent invasion on Selaco, a massive space station sheltering the last refugees after Earth’s fall just a few years prior. You play as Dawn Collins, an ACE Security Captain who, with her recent promotion and high level security clearances, is digging deep into the truth behind Selaco's murky history. Before she can finish her investigation, Selaco is rocked by explosions and armed invaders.

A lengthy adventure-driven campaign
Selaco offers a massive, uninterrupted journey packed with action and atmosphere. Explore a wide range of environments in a fully connected world - no cutaways, no time jumps, just seamless momentum from start to finish.
Intense Action set pieces
Blast through your environment with impactful weapons that really leave a mark on the world. That once lavish office space, now nothing but a pile of rubble with broken paintings, smashed tables, screen, chairs, smoke, and chunks of debris.
Custom AI
Selaco’s AI was built from the ground up for dynamic, coordinated combat. Enemies communicate, flank, suppress, and adapt to your tactics - keeping pressure when you're aggressive or rushing when you're vulnerable. Hundreds of voiced lines hint at their next move, making every fight feel alive.
Full soundtrack
Selaco features an original, full-length soundtrack composed by Lawrence Steele, with over 3 hours of neon-tinged electronica spanning from high-intensity combat tracks to immersive, atmospheric soundscapes.
Adapt & Overcome
As enemies evolve and gain access to new tools, so do you. Improve your weaponry with new utility upgrades, or transform weapon behavior entirely with Weapon Kits.
Replayability
Selaco is designed with replayability in mind. Jump into Randomizer Mode to experience remixed mechanics, exclusive enemies, and fully customizable chaos. Or test your skills in Incursion Mode (coming later during Early Access), an endless survival challenge set in Deathmatch-style arenas.
Updates
Build ids and update times come straight from Steam's PICS — the same source SteamDB reads. Patch history grows as we record new builds.

Great little game. AI is good, doesn't stay in one spot. Guns are fun, puzzles are not super easy, but also not incredibly hard.
除了地图太大,隐藏过于阴间外,是个不错的游戏,期待后续更新
Incredibly entertaining game. I dip in once or twice a week for 20~ minute play throughs. Each little play gives great satisfaction with genuinely challenging gun battles and cool level design. There is a lot of dislike to the scale of the levels, and I somewhat agree. However, I still recommend playing the game. The green indicators do help a lot, and sometimes you do get a little lost and spend more time than you would like trying to find the next location, but the game is so fast paced you move, strafe and jump your way rapidly through the map. This brings me back to the 'old days' of shooters. Brings out the millennial in me, I love it.

Yes. Yeeaas! YYYEEEAAAGGGH
i'm not good at making review but all i can say is that the game was a great surprise the story the level the fight all was really great. i'm currently replaying the compaign with the special campaign option and it's quite fun i can't' wait for the future for the next chapter to be out .
i cannot believe a game this good exists and that its running on the doom engine, buy the game
between this and beyond citadel, 2 of the best boomer shooters out there imo peeking and brutal selaco mod make the game 10x more immersive also, and doesn't break the game for first time players. 10/10 can't wait for chapter II. pew pew
Incredibly good game. Best shooter in looong time!
My Thoughts on Selaco – and Why I Still Prefer Ion Fury I have now finished the first episode of Selaco, and I have to say this game is truly impressive. I’m honestly amazed at what the developers managed to achieve with such an old engine as Doom II. From a technical standpoint, it’s absolutely outstanding and shows that classic technology can still impress even modern gamers. The weapons look fantastic and feel incredibly powerful. The hit feedback is excellent, the visual effects are gorgeous, and the massive sci-fi environments are a joy to explore. The modern upgrade system with alternate fire modes and weapon enhancements fits surprisingly well, even though I personally don't think the game really needs it. But I understand that modern players enjoy these kinds of progression systems. The enemy AI is one of Selaco's biggest strengths. Even on the third difficulty setting, the game can be brutally challenging. Every firefight feels intense and rewarding. My biggest criticism is the pacing. Some of the office areas are quite cramped, making larger battles feel a bit awkward at times. More importantly, after almost every great combat encounter, the game slows down and sends you searching through huge levels for keycards, switches, or other objectives. Without constantly checking the map, it's easy to lose your sense of direction. For me, this hurts the overall flow of the game. Another aspect I didn't enjoy is the way the story is told. Most of the narrative is hidden inside emails and text documents. Personally, I don't read dozens of files while playing. I usually only check whether they contain a door code. For me, Ion Fury is Selaco's closest competitor. While it runs on the Build Engine rather than the Doom engine, both games share a similar old-school shooter philosophy. However, I simply enjoy Ion Fury's gameplay more. It's faster, more action-packed, has stronger pacing, and I love its classic humor. The movement and overall feel of the Build Engine are still my personal favorite. Since Duke Nukem 3D is my all-time favorite game, it's no surprise that I'd choose Ion Fury if I had to compare the two. That said, Selaco is still an excellent game and a fantastic experience for both modern FPS fans and old-school shooter enthusiasts. It deserves all the support it can get. Highly recommended!
