You're a security officer deep within Area 51. Scan the staff, verify clearances, and decide who can enter the elevator and who absolutely mustn't leave. The deeper you go, the less certain you are that anyone standing before you is still human.
Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Security 51 is an atmospheric security guard simulator inspired by Papers, Please, and SCP paranoia. You're on duty in the underground bunker of Area 51, where the most dangerous part begins at the elevator: the shaft descends for miles down to unknown levels. Whether it's laboratories, anomalies, inhumane experiments, or something alien—you're not supposed to know. Your task is simple: let in those who have access and stop those who don't... even if everything looks "right" on the surface.
Everyone who passes through your checkpoint carries papers and passes. Your job is to check names, positions, clearance levels, and time, ensuring the number of people entering and leaving matches, and pay attention to any oddities. As time passes you'll catch yourself thinking that something's wrong more and more, and the only thing to rely on will be the protocols. But even they can be wrong.
With experience, you'll gain increasingly more accurate methods of identity verification, such as blood testing. Did that janitor simply open the wrong door, or are they a spy for an enemy government? Or are they not even human? When in doubt, quarantine the suspect. Sometimes you'll make mistakes and lock up an ordinary employee, and sometimes you'll find a titanium cell ripped open from the inside. Some decisions will have immediate consequences, others only after several shifts.
The consequences of every mistake go far beyond issues in the workplace. Let the wrong person out, and the infection will ravage the city. Isolate suspicious employees, investigate anomalies, and launch new operations to contain the threat before it's too late.
Remember, it's not just about who you let in, but who or what you let out into the world.

If you like Papers Please type games, you'll like this one. Unlike some games of that type you generally (with the exception of one of the microscope parts) do not have to documents what the reason for passing or failing the person is, you can just do it. There are multiple paths that give the game replayability too. My only critique is some things are not explained well, for instance, in the late game, when you have to use blood strips, it's not explained what end you have to put the blood on to get the test result. That may seem minor, but when you're on the time crunch of these types of games, it's good to have a tutorial on things like that. Similarly, having more info in the encyclopedia would be helpful. I'm thinking to the visitor you bonce because they have a "sharp bone" which isn't easy to see. Finally, when you highlight a body part and use the compare tool, it will sometimes say no issue, when there is, in fact, an issue. Would still recommend, but if the Devs are reading this, I would just say that some of the tutorials could be clearer, more info on what issues to look out for are, and to do some bug tests on the part (I don't know what you call it) where you click on a body part (noticed this a lot with organs) and click on the green screen on the right to ensure it is displaying properly. Great game though and great addition to the genre!
ery good game
Very good game. I've only played till one ending tho. Lots more to discover!
A cool and fun papers-like game. Must play if you like the genre!
The game is pretty cool for what it is. Even though I thought some mistakes that I made were bugs, after restarting the run one or two times I managed to see that I either mistook my orders or I didnt make a photograph properly (curse you phantom man framer). The only thing that I would like is that items and upgrades were priced correctly, cause the shop is just sad, I can barely make an upgrade per 2/3 days (and thats just lvl 1 tier upgrades out of 5, I reached only level 2 upgrades per route XD). Divide the upgrade shop prices by 10 and that will be fine.
To be honest, I was a little disappointed; I was hoping the main storyline would be longer and more interesting. Apparently, there’s another main objective in this game, but the game doesn’t even hint at it or mention it, so you feel like it’s over and you’re left on your own to create branching paths, losing everything you’ve earned up to that point. The content is cool, but it ended just as quickly as it began.
