Fish, scale, sell, repeat. Scale the Depths is a casual fishing game built around this simple but satisfying loop. Feed hungry customers, upgrade your gear, and uncover the many secrets hidden beneath the surface.

Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 4.86/day in the week to Aug 23 → 11.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Catching fish is only the beginning.
Cast your line, hunt for the perfect catch, scale it with care, serve it to hungry customers, and turn your hard-earned cash into better gear. Then go deeper. Catch stranger fish. Make more money. Upgrade again.
You know, just one more run.
Each improvement pushes you further into the depths… and further from whatever counts as normal.

Explore four distinct fishing spots inspired by real places – from Loch Ness to Outer Banks, Point Nemo, and beyond.
Each location comes with its own:
atmosphere and environment
gear
fish species
hidden paths and secrets
puzzles, treasures, and strange things waiting below
The deeper you go, the less this feels like a simple fishing job.

Your customers are not human. Some are cute. Some are mythical. Some are exactly the kind of creatures you wouldn’t expect to order dinner from a tiny robot on a boat.
Serve wild animals like otters, axolotls, and herons, alongside beings inspired by myth and folklore, including legends such as Nessie and Kelpie. Each customer has their own personality, appetite, and favorite fish.
Learn who likes what, deliver the right catch, and you might earn a very generous tip. Serve badly, and… well, they’ll have opinions.

There’s more than fish hiding underwater, and definitely more lore than anyone reasonably expects from a game about fishing.
Search the depths for:
hidden treasures and collectible artifacts
messages in bottles
secret passages
environmental puzzles and levers
Every scrap of old notes and logs brings you a little closer to understanding why this tiny robot is busy fishing in the first place.

Progress isn’t just about bigger numbers (although bigger numbers are very nice).
Upgrade your fishing gear, unlock better tools, customize your boat, and dress up your tiny robot fishmonger before sending them back into increasingly strange waters.
Improve your rods, hooks, bags and scaling tools
Unlock new boats and cosmetics
Scale tiny fish with increasingly ridiculous tools
Look good while feeding ancient beings from the deep
Because if you’re going to prepare fish for strange creatures, you might as well do it in style.

WARNING TO ANYONE WITH AN NVIDIA GeForce 10 series graphics cards: NVIDIA does not support modern games very well, if the game lags despite being a simple pixel game, it's probably your GPU's fault. I finished the game in a day, now i'm working on 100% it. Overall I'd rate this game a 6.5/10, but as a game for casual players it's perfect. The gameplay is fun, satisfying, and feels rewarding. It can get monotonous so it's nice to take breaks while playing. The game has quite a bit of content for it's price, but don't expect as much content as dave the diver or other unicorn indie games lol, this game is just a fun and relaxing experience to hop in and out of. You can probably beat the whole game in 4hrs. It has a bit of jank so it could definitely use more polish, but there was nothing that was a deal breaker for me. Personally, I REALLY loved the ambiguous nature of the story, it's similar to plants vs. zombies, there's a little bit of story and it's fun and playful without overexplaining anything. love love loved that.. It's so rare to see that nowadays. Not everything needs 100 pages lore that reads like it was written in 2 days by a sleepless caffeine fueled college student. There's also a lot of real life mythology added into the game that was cool and fun to see and read about. the BGM and SFX were alright, not bad not amazing, just BGM and SFX lol. The art is the worst part of the game for me. I like pixel art, but this game's art style looks very cheap and rushed to me, i think they're going for a grungy look and a lot of that is achieved, but sometimes the choice of line variation and lighting/shading is very poor, like the artist just thought "welp, that looks good enough" and barfed out art for a deadline Other nitpicks/bugs: -The game's humor kept teetering between being charming + funny and really cringy to me, it had some witty jokes but also a lot of brainrot dead meme references lol -Weird bug where sometimes when I click E on the fish prep station it opens the almanac/encyclopedia? -Most of the game's content is on the steam page, so I'm glad I didn't look thru all of the images because it would've ruined a lot of the novelty for me -The 1 second loading screen with text each time you exit "prep fish" station, it's so quick that there's never enough time to read the text, and if it took longer it would be very annoying since you use the prep station for 50% of the game. I wish the loading screen just wasn't there -NO SAVEFILES, you get 1 save and that's it Overall tho it was worth the time and money, and I'm excited to see more stuff from the devs!

I 100% the game in the time i played and actually took my time with it. It's a cute, silly chill game although ngl some fish were a pain in my neck to find but hey, that's RNG for you. You are getting exactly what you see and if you're into small games like this you will enjoy every minute of it.
我去了给我玩的密恐犯了,强迫症急了,人红温了,净生气了。你妈的钓鱼,我去你的全成就,你大爷的。

EXTREMELY fun. 100%ed by finding all customer likes and dislikes - some of the rare spawn fish are, admittedly, a bit annoying to get, but the core gameplay loop is fun enough to make up for it. Some of these fish are COMICALLY big, and it makes it VERY funny when it goes between a Big ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Fish and a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ anchovy. Great game. Highly recommend,
It is VERY funny that the Kraken asks for fish "beyond mortal comprehension" and then only takes normal deep-sea fish and doesn't like the actual alien half as much. Those fish are perfectly within mortal comprehension, thank you very much! They're not inscrutiable. We're scruting them just fine. They're paying us with woims.
expected alot more gameplay to be honest, they give you a huge map and only let you play about 5% of it, also the achievements are still bugged, sometimes the bait bucket gets super bugged, also the legendary catches are always the exact same thing, a worm with some weird feature about it, except for the dinosaur one, which isnt even required to feed the legendary customer anyway
