The werewolf on the cover has a shotgun... very fun game to play and worth the pennies you will spend to buy it. Reminds me of Contra Hard Corps. 11/10

Contra and Megaman of our time.

Decided to play this for Halloween weekend and got instantly sucked in! This game nails the '90s pixelated horror aesthetic and it has buttery smooth controls (tested with both xbox 360 and ps5 controllers). You can even choose to have a CRT filter to really transport you back in time. It's really great for beginners yet chasing the No Death Game and Hardcore achievements give it some real fangs. I loved zooming around in the air as Dominika and I can't wait to play her again next Halloween when I go for that last hardcore achievement ;) For the price, it's a steal, whether on sale or not. I hadn’t played a platformer in ages, and this one reminded me how good it feels to lose track of reality for a while. 10/10 will escape Hell over and over again 🦇

A good game that you probably know if you want to play or not by looking at the screenshots. Nice authentically retro graphics, boppin' soundtrack and mostly smooth controls form the backbone of a game with plenty of varied stages and bosses. The system of switching weapons based on situation and having each gun be of roughly the same power level is pretty well done (though I rarely used the chicken bombs since the fuse is way too long.) There are some flaws that drag it down a bit, though. Jumping feels weak, with you being given 2 very heavy jumps when 1 stronger jump would have made things more controllable. Most enemies can be killed before they become a hazard to you if you use the right weapon, which slows the game down a bit and makes it more of a puzzle game than action at times. The bosses sometimes don't feel especially fair, but they're easy to brute force since you're given A LOT of health. 7/10, a fun time.

é um game que vale a pena. achei a jogabilidade meio estranha, mas, OK. a música é mto boa. os niveis e inimigos parece ser meio desconectados/universos diferentes. tem hora que me lembra de castlevania, tem hora que lembra de kid chameleon, megaman, ... se fosse dar uma sugestao para os devs, um zoomout poderia vir a calhar; ter so um artista para desenhar os inimigos e outro para os niveis.
