I hate this game. It's ugly and stupid. My friend bought it for me for $4. I'll never play it again.

I have extremely mixed feelings about this game. I love Saints Row 2. One of the best games of all time. Saints Row has been downhill ever since. The gameplay in this is really solid. The cars are fun, the guns are fun, the map is full of interesting things. But the story- good god, the story. These characters are insufferable. I had more fun playing on mute purely for the gameplay. I’d take this over 4, hell- I prefer it over 3 in terms of map and feel. But the characters make it really hard to like.

Bad Writing, forgettable characters, terrible gunplay and mechanics. could be kind of fun if you and your boy does co-op but otherwise it's a miserable experience.

Except for the very period specific commentary, and a few glitches that require the game to be restarted, this is a fun open world game with some great side missions and extra material. Having played the game on release on the Playstation and now with most of the extra material, I will say that the game is much more fleshed out and is worth it at the 20 dollar price point.

buggy and unoptimized trash 1/10

This is a fun game but all the absurdness is lost in the remake. It is supposed to be absurd with goofy graphics. In the other words: game - good, remake - bad. Going EA to buy DLC to get all achievements - bruh.

The story and characters are horrible but the gameplay is fun. Feels a little shallow and the city is kinda mid. Seriously the characters are the worst, they're all best buddies who start crime to make their rent... Theres nothing hardcore about them, nothing other than being slightly sassy or quippy. Theres no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ actions taken by the player like the rest of the series and no angry british dude to have as your characters voice which I feel is pretty integral to the series since SR2. I like the character and weapon customization, but theres a lot lacking in terms of options. The most "Saints Row" character also falls into this "friendship for everyone" dynamic the game pushes and all the SR businesses we have come to enjoy have been censored and has zero edge. Jim Robs is the new name for the custom car location, FB instead of Freckle ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, etc.

[h1] 这个ip从此大概是死掉了 [/h1] 前排提醒，一定要打折买，小白可以购入当作GTA代餐，SR遗老慎重购买 要是没玩过黑道圣徒2/3/4，我会说这款游戏还不赖，可惜我玩了，因为没有对比就没有伤害 作为SR系列的粉丝，22年首发e宝独占的时候我就预购了，当时首发版本给我的感觉就是他喵的为什么主线这么短，支线这么敷衍，射击手感这么狗屎，载具操控这么肥皂，但我还是把游戏打通关了，现在过了四年，最近打折加上懒得登录麻烦的epic，我又买了steam版本的，经过后续缝缝补补后的此作，下面说一下游戏的优缺点： + 丰富的自定义系统（载具，武器，服装，捏人） + 幽默诙谐的游戏氛围 + 载具电台的歌不错 ---------没错，优点没了--------- - 糟糕的剧情演绎（涉及剧透：[spoiler] 比如豹子帮老大塞吉奥前期逼格巨高居然被纳瓦利一刀秒了 [/spoiler]） - 糟糕的驾驶手感（npc的车像坦克一样重，玩家的车像肥皂一样滑，没错过了快四年依旧难开，尤其是直升机的手感） - 糟糕的射击手感（枪械散布巨大无比，手感稀烂，点名百花齐放冲锋枪） - 糟糕的游戏机制（安排大量通马桶的事业任务给玩家，纯粹用来水玩家时长的，你哪怕分配多一点开发资源到主线和支线上呢） - 糟糕的DLC质量（DLC纯敷衍，短小，但不精悍，也是让玩家重复大量机械操作，好不容易玩到稍微有点儿水准的情节又短得可怜） - 糟糕的联机体验（ 90%的情况下不管是主机还是副机都卡的完全没办法进行游戏，开加速器也一样，能正常游玩纯烧高香） - 前作的屎尿屁性的恶俗元素呢？这作没了，宝宝黑帮来的 没错，过了四年，你会发现缺点还是我一开始提到的那几点为主，这游戏对我来说唯一改进的地方就是帧数不锁60了，但是有时候帧数一高就容易触发bug，诸如上车秒下，剧情卡死等等，你调回锁60打完那一段再调回去就好了，难绷，现在缺点+1 碎碎念环节，这游戏我已经100%收集通关，一共64个成就，完美主义者的我硬着头皮打到63个了，还有一个成就是要联机达成的，我放弃了，告辞，纵使我再热爱这个系列，我也遭不住了 这个ip已经被玩死了，有生之年估计是难玩到正儿八经的SR续作了，悲

Loved the first 3 installments. Knew that this game was bad... got it on sale to try it out myself... I couldn't stand the dialog of the protagonist and his three friends.

I had avoided getting this game for years given how mixed the reviews are. Having actually played it now, I regret not getting it sooner. It is by no means perfect, but it's extremely fun, which is all I really want out of a game. The negative reviews seem to mostly nitpick, while the more positive ones are more accurate. I can definitely understand why people might dislike aspects of this game, but outright not recommending it seems overly critical. If you can get this game on sale, I would strongly suggest getting it.
