Hello there. This game was bought for my brother and I, a while ago by my dad. We all enjoyed it alot and then my dad added it to his wishlist. Unfortunatly he passed before we could buy it for him and play with him. I will still be buying it for his account even though he isnt around as a tribute to this good game and all that my dad has done for me in my 19 years of life. Thank you Devs. Miss you dad.
Saint's Row: The Third Remastered has a lot of performance problems. I've attempted many community-proposed fixes, but continue to encounter micro-stuttering after about thirty minutes of play. Just get the original game instead; the graphics might be older but at least the game works. I'm glad I was able to get this game for only $2.49 USD.
-90% Sale, cost me like £3 and refunded. Read the reviews that did warn people about this "remaster" and honestly they are correct. Would never play full price for this. Multiple graphical bugs during the first mission, one of them being depth of field not working correctly and making the entire screen blurry when someone walked in front of me to the odd hit detection during the second mission. Soon as I finally was able to roam around steelport the game would drop frames inconsistently to which I edited the graphic settings and the game fully crashed on me. Horrible "remaster" yet the only good thing I can say about it is the character model upgrades mostly were great including creation for us. Stay away from this version of the game, don't even get it during a sale.
Saints Row The Third Remastered is a competent update that makes a classic title playable on modern hardware, but it is ultimately just a fresh coat of paint on an aging structure. Beyond the visual and technical cleanup, there is nothing new here. If you have already played through the original, there is very little reason to return to Steelport unless you are looking for a nostalgia trip. It’s perfect for newcomers who missed out the first time or die hard fans, but those looking for a modern, refined experience may find it hard to look past its technical limitations.
ABSOLUTE PEAK

It's the exact same Saints Row: The Third you remember, just with updated character models and better lighting. Some of the characters' models look completely different compared to how they looked in the original release. Some are improved, while others just look a bit bland and uncanny. The new lighting engine is quite good, especially when driving around at dusk while listening to GenX 89.0 and running over the Syndicate (and mostly pedestrians as collateral). This version comes bundled with almost all the original DLCs. The only things missing are the Team Fortress 2 masks and the Bloodsucker pack. The latter essentially acted as a paid cheat anyway, so it's really no great loss. Most of the included DLC items are just retextures of existing weapons and vehicles, and some are even early unlocks that may ruin progression. The three story expansions are just okay-ish. But then, was all of this really necessary? The upgrades are welcome, especially if you grab the game at a deep discount, but the original Saints Row and Saints Row 2 were far more worthy of a remaster treatment than SRTT ever was."
Goated just like the original. (also did anyone else realise they censored a lot of images?)
