A very cute VN! It has a unique mechanic were you can click on highlighted words to give different responses. The writing even got a few laughs out of me too. The art style is simple but on point and the character designs are fantastic. The character design is so good that I want to see more of them. The only real downside is all of the endings are just text. I was lucky enough to have a coffee with Mia and didn't even get a picture of her enjoying the coffee. Come on, gamer!
Sigh. Why do I always fall so hard for the monster ladies who wanna sacrifice me?
Some of the suggestions that the protag makes betray his absolute lack of braincells (affectionate) This is the kind of game where after you reach an ending you immediately load your latest save over and over to get a different one. Kinda reminded me of long live the queen in that regard 10/10
AWESOME use of frequent choices in a silly but very engaging indie VN. The pacing and tone is great, it seems deceptively simple and made me laugh hard several times, but there is an absurd degree of choice for its length. With the degree of branching storytelling, even for my first playthrough I felt like I got a satisfying and wild story with ample lore and high stakes. I was extremely engaged and there is tons of room for replayability, especially since it is tempting to go for many of the crazier achievements when I have more time to play! It is worth noting that the visuals and audio are humble, but both are stylized well to complement what the dev had to work with. The real star of the show here is how much work is put towards providing frequent and impactful choices, definitely worth a try to see how fast you can go off the rails and then stay there.
Sacrifice for sale is a choice driven story. It is not your typical Visual Novel game. Since you can choose to interrupt or just to follow the story, doesn't mean the endings are all the same. The fact I got interested in the game is their story pathing and complex routing of their stories. Does make achievement hunting on this silly story telling game interesting and fun. Basically, a bit of Halloween/scary themed but not too violent. With a bit self-social relation. Just explore the creativity of the choices.
I am not big in visual novels. Story is Okey, some dialogues are quite funny. Find it interesting to see all possible outcomes but most importantly getting that 100% on achievements. I might loose my sanity over this, but a challenge is a challenge.
the writing is great, the character designs are great, and it really got me to laugh quite a few times. the branching path system is always an amazing addition to these because it really expands the story a lot, and the dialogue system is well though out and the option to stay silent is really unique and adds to the depth of the choices you can make. overall, this is easily one of my favorite visual novels and i think you should purchase it because it's awesome.
Really enjoyed the game. The more I played the more and more I liked the characters and wanted to find out more about their backstories. Just a tip: The beginning decisions do affect options you get later on.
Fantastic little game that is easy to play. The music is on point as well.
hey daniel this was worth the wait nice videogame (although I still don't have the tail-grabbing achievement and i think you're a little messed up for making that so elusive it should just be a hotkey to do that honestly)
