About
The Celestial Collapse—a calamity caused by a colossal object crashing into the eastern lands known as Azuma. The devastating impact sent fragments of terrain to the skies above and the seas below. With the earth shattered, the power provided by the runes ceased to flow. The gods of nature vanished soon after. Mountains crumbled and fields withered, leaving the people with nothing…not even hope.
You awaken, startled by a dream of dueling dragons. You don’t remember how or why, but a voice resonates within you.
"Accept the power of an Earth Dancer. Use this power to save the land."
Experience Rune Factory reimagined! Guardians of Azuma is an all-new adventure that takes place in the never-before-seen eastern country of Azuma. Embrace your Earth Dancer powers and fight against the corruption spreading throughout Azuma to bring hope back to this once-prosperous land.
As an Earth Dancer, use the power of dance, sacred treasures, and fresh weapons like the Bow and Talisman to purify the land, your farms, and undo the Blight’s damage.
Don’t just mind the farm—rebuild entire villages! Construct and place buildings, enticing people to return to the villages and contribute. Revive the gods to bring vitality and valuable resources back to the plagued lands.
Experience beautiful Japanese-inspired character designs and aesthetics—from festivals, events, and monsters. Explore Azuma’s natural landscapes and its seasonal-themed locales steeped in tradition.

Solid game.
This game is super duper awesome!!! But, after about twenty hours, I've become a little wary of some of the game's features and mechanics. Pros: - LOTS of ways to customize/build up your character's skills and property! - The NPCs that CAN be befriended are all surprisingly fun, or at least intriguing - You get to build SO MUCH!!! From buildings to furniture to decorations... Amazing! - The writing has at SEVERAL points made me laugh - The English voice acting makes me genuinely happy - Super in-depth stats/skill/gear systems - You can have NPC friends join you on your adventures out of the village! - Small thing, but I like that certain NPCs will talk to each other if you bring the right ones out <3 Cons: - Very few NPCs that you can actually befriend, but even less that you can marry - Some mechanics get given to you WAY later than you would think - Ridiculously easy, even on hard (making those extremely deep skill trees and gear kinda useless) - Very repetitive music, with very few tracks in total - Non-friendable NPCs are really uninteresting - Some of the friendable NPCs are just glorified merchants It's a super duper fun game, but if I'm getting this concerned about the game's end-game THIS early...? Not sure how much longer I have until I become sick of the lack of marriage candidates or the unnecessary amount of stats for how easy the game is. Buy if you are aware that this may be a game that you enjoy, but do not complete!!! :D
Simplified a lot of the farming mechanics and added the town management. Combat feels good and character bonds feel meaningful. As a fan of the series this is good!
Her npc farklı rollere sahip.
I have been missing out on this game?? Let alone the other Rune Factory games? I want to slap myself, lol. Anyway totally love this game now. Farming, upgrading villages, going on adventures with your NPC friends and killing bosses has been a total blast. I've just finished the main story so I still have ways to go. I'm excited to see what else I can do on this game.
Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma is a great addition to the franchise! It builds on the foundation of Rune Factory Tides of Destiny and focuses mostly on RPG/battle/exploration. Like in ToD, farming is not a huge part of the experience, so everyone who searches for that will not get it here. It's mostly automated and money doesn't play a huge role. This entry however is a huge step up regarding the open world and socialization. While RF5s open world was mostly empty, they added lots of collectibles and sidequests to keep you busy. The daily dialogue is very lacking, but the vast amount of bonding events with the characters is immaculate. Paired with the awesome and funny voiceacting, this game has the best events for bachelors and bachelorettes in the whole franchise. The other mechanics are watered down - you don't need to farm, craft good gear or think up methods to gain the most money. But that's not bothering me here, since the focus of the game is a different one. Exploration, battle and wooing all the lovable characters. It is still a spin off and not a main entry, so RF:GoA focusing on a few specific mechanics is perfectly fine. I hope that they can use the positives of this game and include them in the next main installment - especially the bonding events!
Its a fun cozy game, it is familiar and repetitive but never the less an enjoyable experience
I’d recommend Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma if you’re looking for a pretty, colorful, vibrant world with a bit of everything: RPG elements, story, farming, building, taking care of crops and villages, NPC quests, relationships, combat… basically that all-around cozy JRPG/farming-game feeling. I’ve always appreciated the Rune Factory series because I still think it’s quite special in the way it mixes these things together. You’re not forced into either a full-on JRPG or a purely cozy farming game. You can grow crops, build relationships, cook, fish, discover new recipes, raise monsters, craft weapons and accessories, then go out and actually fight with different weapons and RPG systems. I’ve always found that combination really interesting, and I genuinely can’t think of a series that does it in quite the same way. I’ve liked the concept since the days when I first tried Rune Factory Frontier, and while I haven’t played every single entry, I played Rune Factory Oceans all the way through and absolutely loved it at the time. There was just something so addictive about spending your days farming, talking to people, slowly building relationships, taking part in town events, fishing, eventually choosing someone to marry… and then going out to fight monsters! It was such a fun mix. So naturally I was excited about Guardians of Azuma, and I ended up putting quite a lot of hours into it. First of all, I really loved the character designs here. The anime style is beautiful, the characters are likable, and developing relationships with them was genuinely fun. I also really liked the whole ancient Japanese/Asian folklore feeling running through the game. The seasonal regions were a fresh idea for the series, and I enjoyed how each one had its own atmosphere rather than simply following the usual calendar-season system. The entire game has this mythological, almost storybook quality to it that I found really charming. I also liked the usual Rune Factory loop: raising crops, improving equipment, doing quests, progressing relationships, fighting, collecting things. For quite a while, it was addictive. But eventually… I got bored. One thing that started to bother me was how lifeless some of the village-management side felt. You keep getting new farmers/workers to choose from and assign, but after a while they started feeling more like numbers in a system than actual npcs. And surprisingly, the building system ended up being one of my biggest disappointments, even though I normally love this kind of thing. On paper, being able to design your own villages should have been one of my favorite parts of the game. Choosing where houses go, arranging farms, placing cafés, restaurants, hot springs, decorations… I imagined I would spend hours making every village look beautiful and giving each one its own personality. Instead, I eventually found it frustrating. The system pushes you to raise the level of each area by matching building and decoration attributes together, and for me it became quite overwhelming. I was constantly thinking about which objects needed to be near which buildings, what matched what, and how to fit everything into the limited available land. Some areas gave me much more room than others, but in places like the summer region I constantly felt like I had nowhere near enough space for everything the game wanted me to place. Eventually I stopped caring about making things look nice and just started smashing buildings and decorations together wherever they would fit so I could raise the village level. And honestly, that completely killed the mood for me. That was probably my biggest frustration because I could so clearly imagine how fun it would have been to truly design these villages, feeling like I was managing and shaping a living town. But the combination of limited space and the attribute-matching system made it feel more like solving a cluttered placement puzzle than creating somewhere beautiful. After a while I became tired of that side of the game and mostly pushed forward with the story, developed the relationships I cared about, and eventually chose my life partner. Overall though, I still think Guardians of Azuma is a really nice game, and I absolutely do recommend it. I loved the visual direction, the characters, the folklore-inspired world. I just wish the village-building system had given me more freedom and space, because I think I would have enjoyed the game much more. Still, for anyone who loves cozy games but also wants actual story, relationships, RPG progression and combat, Rune Factory remains one of the most interesting series out there, and this is definitely worth experiencing.
Great story with tons to do outside of the main quest. The graphics were different than what I am used to, but enjoyable all the same. I liked being able to build bonds with the characters and how much freedom there is in the choices you can make regarding each village and their layout. Ive beaten this game twice: once as Subaru and once as Kaguya. No matter how many times I play it, it will be different. Love games like this and keep it on my Steam Deck as a staple. The only thing I was unhappy with was having to pay for Pilika and Cuilangs routes. Hopefully in the future the developers will not resort to such scummy tactics.
