for games like this i wish steam had a "meh" option my baby's first politics, also first time for me where player gets to play as a background/camera for other people arcs banger OST tho
Wow. This game's story is so well done, and it truly should be appreciated many, many years later.
The Good
- Just like Road 96's prequel, "Road 96: Mile 0", the story and writing is phenomenal - The graphics enrich the game with a type of vibe you don't see from any other game. - The OST is amazing, and I will be listening to it outside of the game - The Minigames are so fun, the gas minigame might be my favorite lol
The Bad
- The movement is super weird, just like Mile 0 - Sometimes I'll get a weird stutter that makes my mouse sensitivity cracked up a couple levels - The game doesn't display what piece of OST is playing in the current moment anywhere. It get's annoying going through every single song just to find one specific one.
Overall
This game is **Really** well made. The story is engaging, and you feel like you are each of the 6 characters throughout the game. But the movement is weird, and it seems like it's a bug they can't / won't fix.

Wanted to do something engaging with my husband while he wasn't feeling well, so he stayed in bed and made the dialogue decisions while I worked the controls. Figured a walking sim style game with some meaningful choices would be the move, and Road 96 ended up being a solid bet! I really like how it handles escalation of tension and atmospheric stress. A few years ago, I would have said the political commentary was a little too on-the-nose, but considering where we are, I think media literacy might be dead and on-the-nose is VERY necessary. Lol. If I had to improve this game in 1 way, I would have included at least 1 teen with a highly developed story who wasn't
directly related to someone in a position of power in the tyrannical government
because tbh, if Zoe has no haters, I'm dead.

PERRO SANCHEEEEE
top
очень крутая атмосфера, музыка замечательная
very good game the only issue is no rewind options
its not as good as people make it out to be feels like there are guard rails on ur options. The politics sub-plot is like one side is obviously not good and the other side is like le wholesome good people and they force u to interact with basically everyone to continue the story.
