About
In a world where mysterious plants are spreading all over the earth, emitting toxic spores as they grow, a small group of survivors seeks shelter on the back of a giant, wandering creature they call 'Onbu'.
Become their leader, build their settlement and form a symbiotic relationship with Onbu to survive together in this hostile, yet beautiful post-apocalyptic world.
A functioning village is the basis of your survival. Build your settlement and expand it over Onbu’s back. Plan production chains and optimise them to utilise the limited space as efficiently as possible. Create a society that can overcome any challenge.
Living on the back of another organism comes with its own set of challenges. Will you live in symbiosis, bond with Onbu and survive on mutual trust? Or will you become a parasite, only aiming to ensure a better life for your villagers? The choice is yours.
Continuously adapt your village as you travel through a multitude of different biomes, each with its unique climate zones, opportunities and threats. Scout your environments and send out foraging missions to gather rare resources and ancient artefacts.
Remnants of the old world hold knowledge that has long been forgotten, but can be unearthed by your villagers. Find and research these technologies, but use them wisely, as progress can be a double-edged sword.
Ensure the survival of both your villagers and your Onbu, even though poisonous spores, merciless weather, bloodsucking parasites and many more challenges mean that the odds are often stacked against you.

This game is a must have if you like city builders and want to take it with you on your Steam Deck. Very relaxing and you can truly say that it has been inspired by Studio Ghibli's NAUSICAA of the Valley of the Wind from Miyazaki. All the systems seem pretty balanced and thought out. If its on sale and you wanna chill with your Deck dont hesitate. 10 out of 10 would totally feed the Onbu 1 citizen again.
I do think it gets a bit busy, but I like it. I did not finish my 1st run, after a long time between playing I restarted the run for a fresh start and I have been enjoying it even more now. I have been learning to use the game to its potential this time around, too. xD Controller feel pretty good to use as well. Onbu is so very cute, yes.
This game is super cozy and fun! I've played it since it was in pre-release, and I have loved the way it has been developed! It is just a well-made game.
it is a very decent survival colony game. Overall, I enjoyed my playthrough but there were some flaws that was kinda annoying, tbh. One was, the game having way too many type of resources yet some of them has pretty much the same usage. At the end of my play through, I just felt like it was a waste of time trying to use the bugs and the onbu resources, primarily the bugs. My second gripe with this game was, I couldn`t rotate my view, so whenever I need to select something, that`s being blocked by another, I had to zoom in past the object that was blocking it. pretty annoying actually, especially, when you have to do this every minute of the game. The changing biomes mechanic in this game was actually kind of nice. While I liked the art style, I was disappointed by the lack of bgm music in this game, or voice acting. While the villagers eat, there doesnt seem to be a sleep schedule of some sort. This game is no Frostpunk(which I was kinda hoping it to be) but it`s a decent game to play.
Endgame is a nightmare it doesn't let you get to the point in most cozy city builders where you can just lay back and let it run it needs constant micro management and the happiness tracker is very punishing
A wonderful blend of city-building, survival, and storytelling. I didn't expect I am going to enjoy this game. haha. Kudos to everyone involved in creating this game. Beautiful art, relaxing music, and memorable characters. I enjoyed every minute of it. Highly recommended. 10/10 😊
不推荐 ,画风 很好,但 游戏 设计有问题,节奏太拖沓,玩起来慢慢就玩不下去,建议 参考其他
I got this game because I wanted to vibe and take my mind off stressful stuff. It is basically an anti-anxiety drug. It's an adorable yet difficult sometime spooky game, with a great story and very interesting achievements to figure out. I wish it was multiplayer! My Onbu could beat your Onbu up!
