About
BALL x PIT is a fast-paced fantasy roguelite where heroes must find the balls to plunge deeper into a seemingly bottomless pit of monsters. Develop arcane ammunition and resources in pursuit of treasure, recruiting additional heroes to aid you in your perilous quest.
Ballbylon has fallen. After a meteoric and completely unexpected event annihilated the great city, all that remains is an ominous, yawning pit. Treasure hunters from far and wide flock to the city’s tomb to seek their fortune, plumbing the depths in search of Ballbylon’s scattered riches. Few return.
The pit plays host to armies of barbaric creatures, hellbent on ending your quest before it even begins. Armed with a growing arsenal of magic-infused projectiles, batter your way through multiple levels of increasingly challenging obstacles to claim the ultimate prizes and rebuild New Ballbylon.
The Ball Fusion system encourages explosive experimentation with over 60 randomized balls to equip and combine during your journey. Discover overpowered combinations and unexpected synergies from hundreds of possible outcomes.
Expand New Ballbylon with over 70 unique buildings that provide gameplay bonuses and unlock further power-ups, new characters, and more! As your community grows, task homebound heroes with automated tasks to keep the resources coming while you dive deeper into the pit.
Face legions of diverse enemies within the pit, battling through barren deserts, frozen caverns, savage forests and more. Each region offers its own unique set of hazards on top of hordes of increasingly challenging foes and mighty, screen-filling bosses.
As you explore the pit you’ll encounter fellow treasure hunters eager to add their skills to your expedition. Each character has unique, upgradable mechanics that totally change the way you play the game. Experimentation and adaptation are crucial to the success of New Ballbylon!

This game is boring, do not buy it
Ok so this game is absolutely beautiful, colours are great the look is really good and the effects are amazing, actually 10/10 art I have no idea how I could improve it. I only played for like an hour but I got put off by the gameplay loop. It's like brotato but with less randomness, less decision making, and less skill expression. I haven't seen that many of the combos you can make but the idea of having to wait a really long time to see them and then having the combos be limited to 2 at a time felt really weird to me, and the item / ball limit means that you only get to see like 12 balls in a run and 4 items in a run, and you could probably just look up a build that's good and that's it, like the progression ramp is too smooth maybe. Also I was put off by the farming mechanic in between levels like its cute but as a side minigame not something that locks progression. I could see how this would be really fun for some people but its just not for me.
初期很上头,缺乏深度和好的bgm
Town Tetris meets, Galaga & Arkanoid's child. I really enjoyed this game, The music is great, the art is great and the gameplay is fun. You have a town and resources you manage, Lots of playable characters each with their particular abilities, lots of balls and evolutions to discover; I really liked it. It can feel repetitive very early if you try to unlock everything there is in a map with every single character you keep unlocking if you don't wait for the updates than can help speed up the process. So there is that, I'd also like for the encyclopedia to be easier to navigate, to be able to identifier easier what combinations you are missing without having to click each and scroll down every single time you click a new one; other than that I do not have any complains, and they are not a big deal to be honest. Overall I recommend the game, you'll have a lot of fun. Tetris town was the best part to me.
Addicitive little game with plenty of replayability.
---See where this game landed on my Survivor Rogue-lite/like Tier List at the bottom of this rec!--- For the first 2 & a half hours I was on the fence--I wasn't sure that i'd like it. I enjoyed Breakout and its clones, but not to the extent that I would play them religiously. ..and then it clicked! The Vampire Survivors aspect really started to show its hand and I became hooked on it. Late game achievements & DLC is where my interest began to wane a bit, the late game could have been implemented better. I 100%'d the achievements on this one, great game! ===================== My Survivor Rogue-lite/like Tier List (PC) ===================== -Not an objective list, purely how much I enjoyed the games- Loved it: Halls of Torment | Gunlocked* | Great: Army of Ruin | Gunbot Diplomacy | Ball x Pit* | Heretic’s Fork* | Slime 3K: Rise against Despot | Achilles: Survivor | Good: Rogue: Genesia | Scarlet Tower^ | Wings of Seduction*@ | Elemental Survivors^ | Okay Vampire Survivors | Brotato# | Orc Survivor | Vital Shell | Glory & Miserable Survivors DX*@ | 20 Minutes till Dawn | Talented | Nomad Survival | Void Scrappers* | Elewar: Fused Survivors | Swarm Grinder | Striving for Light: Survival# | Noobs are Coming# | ”meh”: Keeper’s Toll | Twilight Survivors | Pesticide Not Required | Dark Fairy Tale: Dreamland Survivors | Spirit Hunters: Infinite Horde | Nordic Ashes | Soulstone Survivors | Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor | Kitty’s Last Adventure | Greedland | Horde Hunters | Kitty Survivors | I Am Legion: Stand Survivors | Nautical Survival# | Very “meh”: Beat Invaders | Etaine: Magic Survivor | The Spell Brigade | Tower Tactics Arena | Genome Guardian | God of Weapons | Time Wasters* | Boneraiser Minions | Archons | Goobies | X Invader | Cast Out Colony | Crafty Survivors | Starship Scramble | Bounty of One | Holocure - Save the fans! | Cozy Space Survivors | Disfigure | SurvivalScape | Bio Prototype | Bloodshed* | Vampire Hunters* | The Nightwatch# | Choo Choo Survivors | Choo Choo Survivors 2 | Voids Vigil | Boons & Burdens# | Solar Survivors* | Picayune Dreams | Artifact Seeker: Resurrection | Karate Survivor | Tri Survive | Night Swarm | Holy Shot | Fantasy Survivors | Apocalypse Party | Neon Spellstorm* | Cosmic Carnage*^ | Raiden Nova* | Zombie Survivors | PhaigeX: Hyperspace Survivors* | Entropy Survivors | Skigill | Awful or Overly basic: Hack & Shoot Heroes | Arcane Waves | Mutant Survivors# | Oonga Boonga* | Solomon’s Boneyard (PC version)^ | Level Tank | Agent Pigeon 7^ | ========================== * = A misfit: Abnormal in some way or a fusion of genres. # = More of a rogue-like than rogue-lite. @ = Pornographic/Hentai/Lewd. ^ = Experienced some annoying bugs
Balls, nice
I just wanted to rearrange my base not thinking they had to be built again. man this sucks....
in the middle of playing the game (15 hour mark) you will say "WHAT DO YOU MEAN TURN BASED?"
It's fun at first and a little after, then becomes a bore fest. You'll get your money worth but only that.
