In knapp 7 Stunden durchgespielt, aber war eine schöne Erinnerung an früher! ^^ Kurzes, aber schönes Vergnügen!
Pure nostalgia and finally a click and point game again, which isn't too short and is full of challenging riddles. I've needed 13 hours for finishing this game here and will spend even more time with it for finding more secrets and earning all of it's achievements.

An amazing blast from the past crafted with love. Yes, the graphics are a bit weird and definitely not to my taste BUT you soon don't notice them. The heart and comedy genius of this game shine through. A legendary series reborn. Thank you for making this Ron! You are Legend Sir.
Gameplay: 8/10 Story: 5/10 Exploration: 6/10 Art & Music: 7/10 Value for Time: 7/10 Overall: 6/10 Time to Beat: 9 hours My overall expectation with the game was very high. I love point and click adventures and the Monkey Island games are supposed to the best in the genre. My low score is relative to this high expectations. There is much to like about the game and my 9 hours with the game was pleasant enough. I liked the art, the inventory-based puzzles, and the hint system. The quality of the writing is uneven. I was turned off by the sometimes juvenile humour, the constant throwbacks to the original game, the strange dynamic between Guybrush and Elaine, and the constant reminders that I as Guybrush was leaving a trail of destruction behind me (when the game didn’t quite give me other options). The overall story about the rivalry between Guybrush, LeChuck, and the pirate leader trio felt promising, but it ended in an unsatisfying manner with multiple unresolved plot points. Instead of the abrupt, cop-out, pretentiously meta ending, the writers should have tried to make a good game with a complete story, Overall, I can only recommend it for fans of the genre, and especially for fans of the original game.
