The art style took a second to get used to, and some of the achievements are just time-wasters, but the puzzles are fair and humorous, and the story is light and fun. I especially enjoyed the interactions with Elaine.

Fun and well polished return to monkey island. Anyone that loved the originals will adore this one :)
Molto bello
it's a nostalgic, if bittersweet revisit to monkey island some thirty years after ron gilbert last touched it. and it's... well, it sure is a sequel to lechuck's revenge in every way that matters. especially -that- way. if you know you know, and it sure was a choice to double down on it. still, the journey to -finding- the secret of monkey island is a lot of fun, and it didn't fail to put a smile on my face. i found the art style charming, the music's excellent as always, and dominic armato is still perfect as guybrush. this is a legacy sequel aimed squarely at the old fans. a closing of the book, even. if you've never played, maybe start at the beginning instead - though in my heretical opinion curse of monkey island, my personal favorite, is magical enough to be a great entry point as well.
I have been a fan of Monkey Island (and Pirates of the Caribbean) since they came out. It is great to have another monkey game after so long. While parts 1,2 and 3 are great,, 4 and 5 not so much. This 6th one has some really good elements to it. I played it 4 years ago and was disappointed by the new graphics and how strange the characters looked. However, 4 years later I played it again now and really enjoyed it. I recommend it and hope there are more Monkey Island games still to come.

If you enjoyed The Secret of Monkey Island, this is the perfect "deja vu". I was too young when I played the first game, and I struggled to solve all the puzzles, so this is the perfect come-back. Good game!
