Den Art-Style kann man mögen oder auch nicht - ich habe mich im Lauf daran gewöhnt. Er ist in sich stimmig und irgendwann gewöhnt man sich daran, dass Guybrush eine Nase hat wie ein Bleistift. Das ist eigentlich das einzige, was mich wirklich stört! Abseits davon: Ein herrlicher Nostalgietrip, die Monkey Island Reihe ist ein Teil meiner Kindheit und da passt sich das Spiel gut ein. Neue charaktere, alte Bekannte, die man sich freut wiederzusehen und coole neue. Dazu der typische Humor, die ab und an gebrochene vierte Wand, die Musik! Lasst euch auf das Spiel ein, dann erlebt ihr ein klassisches Adventure im besten Sinne! Und davon gibt es ja nicht mehr viele neue. Voll sein Geld wert und mach Lust auf mehr!

Lovely. Brought me back to playing games with my father so many years ago...
An absolutely brilliant return to this series. Full of humor, great writing, and loving references to previous games. But also a fantastic step forward for the adventure game genre, overflowing with great new ideas. A real testament to why these kinds of games do not need to be relegated to the past.
Perdida de tiempo, lo unico bueno respecto a los antiguos es que han quitado los puzles absurdos pero solo los han cambiado por otros completamente lineales, no hay historia, vemos flashes de lo que hacen otros personajes que no llevan absolutamente a nada, ni siquiera las pocas teclas que se usan para el juego están bien puestas: tabulador, escape, m, punto y coma... como las uso a la vez que el ratón?
Ich habe mit 12 die Special Edition von The Secret of Monkey Island gespielt und muss sagen dieser Teil bringt mich in die Zeit zurück. Ich bin jetzt bei Kapitel 2 und erhoffe mir weitere spannende Rätsel und noch trockeneren Humor.

La mejor saga de la historia.
I'm a long time avid fan of Monkey Island since the very first. The voice acting, animation flow, UI and gameplay was phenomenal. Enjoyed this...but that ending left me like....WTF...the beginning was gross but pulls a fast one on you. My only complaint was the art style is a bit jarring, but it grows on you except for Guybrush, his design should have been better. LeChuck's design was the best. The other pirates were super super exaggerated.
SET IT TO DIFFICULT!! Otherwise the game is too easy! There isn't a bad Monkey Island game and I've enjoyed every minute of this one... But maybe spoiled it for myself by not selecting the harder difficulty :(
