this game is fun but the puzzle are insanely hard sometimes and the game barely helps you or gives you hits and all the walkthroughs dont really help
The exploration and puzzles were fun, but the gunplay and camera system felt EXTREMELY dated. Wouldn't play it again but it's a solid game overall, especially considering how old it is.
zip zip i zip zip zip...
This might be the most frustrating gaming experience I've ever had. The camera controls are nonexistent, the combat is severely underwhelming, and the game gives little to no information when it comes to objectives. The "bosses" are far too easy to beat and tend to be on screen less than side characters like Richard (rip hero). I do appreciate the world building in this game, as it gives the player a lot of lore to read up on and makes a good amount of it necessary for completing the game. I also quite like the creature designs (and I love the characters already because I play Dead By Daylight). I think watching a lore video about RE1 would be a better use of one's time, but I understand the nostalgia people feel towards this game.
This review is for an old friend that i needed to cut ties with because he is yet another insufferable millenial gamer (my age too btw) that literally cannot stand other peoples' opinions on older video games, so he decided to treat me like garbage over a stupid video game, so here I am giving it a negative review just to appease him! This game has aged like literal milk. Tank controls ACTUALLY being better because camera views on modern controls are so bad, and tank controls are already absolutely awful in 2026. Barely ANY inventory compared to later games makes me JUST wanna play later games. If i were to make a tier list, this game would be almost at the very bottom, with only Resident Evil 6 being the only worst one. Nostalgia-blinded gamers: get over yourselves, literally every other RE is better than this, lmao. Game aged horribly, one gets lost ALL the time, very limited saves is genuinely such a stupid concept to me, etc...
За 40 минут "игры" у меня был черный экран и не работал звук. Спасибо за столь униКАЛьный экспириенс
