Resident Evil Village

pretty good

Village is a genuinely fun game. It successfully replicates the combat/exploration/treasure hunting gameplay loop that made 4 such an enjoyable and addictive experience. However, the story is beyond ridiculous. You would think a series about zombies would prepare the veteran player for absurdity, but the narrative lost me completely after expecting me to swallow werewolves, vampires, sexy bug ladies, horror movie dolls, and a blatant X-Men ripoff as science-derived bioweapons. Still, the gameplay is good, and the main campaign is worth your time. Just skip the boring teenage journey of self-discovery DLC. Seriously, they half-assedly recycle the best parts of the main campaign [spoiler] including the escape room chapter [/spoiler] just to tell an even worse story.

Sin duda alguna, es el RE más fantasioso de toda la saga CON DIFERENCIA (y supieron usar bien esto para vender el juego, verdad mi querida Dimitrescu?), y pese a ello, funciona, y lo hace muy bien, siendo un cierre apropiado, y en parte prometedor, a la familia Winters. No lo pondría como uno de los mejores, pero agarra todo lo bien que hizo el RE anterior, lo magnifica a una escala mayor, y nos da uno de los RE con mayores malas vibras que he visto jamás, y sino, prueben la sección de muñecas del DLC Sombras de Rose 💀 Te quiero mucho Rosemary Winters ❤️
