After Resident Evil 5, I wasn't sure what to expect, but Revelations 2 completely surprised me. From the very first episode, the atmosphere of the abandoned island pulled me in. It constantly made me feel isolated, tense, and sometimes even hopeless the kind of survival horror feeling I had been missing. The biggest highlight for me was Barry Burton. Throughout the game he became one of my favorite characters in the entire series. His determination to save Moira while protecting Natalia made him incredibly likable. The gameplay mechanics with Natalia were also a great addition. Fighting invisible enemies while relying on her to reveal their location created some genuinely tense moments that I won't forget. The story kept me interested from beginning to end. I was constantly coming up with my own theories about what was really happening, and the game managed to surprise me several times. The boss fights were enjoyable, each one felt different, and the ending delivered exactly what I expect from Resident Evil: tension, action, and yes... a helicopter. 😄 The DLCs, however, didn't impress me as much. The Struggle felt like little more than surviving waves of enemies, while Little Miss was a short epilogue that didn't add much to the overall experience. I'm still glad I played them, but they didn't change my opinion of the main game. Resident Evil: Revelations 2 reminded me why I love this series. Great atmosphere, memorable characters, and a story that kept me thinking about what would happen next. It wasn't just about shooting enemies—it was about surviving and uncovering the mystery.
melhor jogo de todos os tempos
Good one
I think Revelations 2 might be the most undervalued installment of the Resident Evil franchise. I love the plot, I love the characters, I love the dynamics the game forces you to use (switching between two characters with completely different abilities) in order to move forward and experience the game as a whole, I love the Kafka references, I love that Capcom won`t let Wesker rest in peace. Claire is at the apex of her badassery and no scene will be more epic than Barry walking in slow motion in front of a hovering helicopter. If you are into RE lore, I strongly recommend you play Revelations 2 and collect all the emblems, larvae and drawings throughout the game so you can access the secret files and cry your eyes out. Also, I would love an update on what happened to Natalia.
