Fun overall, but a lot of frustrating designs like no full viewable maps, insta-kill enemies, half-baked skill tree system, and overall janky controls makes me unable to fully recommend it. --------------- Over the course of me playing this game, I've encountered many bugs. For one, the game drops frames when played with multiple monitors. I had a drawing tablet connected to my PC that also acts as a second monitor. Having it on dropped the game from the capped 60 fps to 40 fps. An unusual issue, but at least there's an easy fix Audio is also super weird. If you're not facing where the source of the audio is coming from, they're almost entirely silent. For example, when you and your partner character are having a conversation, you only hear the character you play as, as most of the time your partner character is behind you. In the final chapter, my game froze once. As if that wasn't frustrating enough, once I boot it up again, Barry for some reason can't fully descend from ladders during the crane platforms section, while Natalia can. Thankfully there was a work around, but that would mean when I play as Barry, I had to drop down, causing fall damage, costing me an herb. Lastly, this game suffers a lot from terribly tuned boss fights. Their only vision for challenge is to spam common enemies that distracts you from the boss fight. Skill issue? Maybe, but combined with the janky controls I mentioned, this just mixes in into the ♥♥♥♥ pile of an aggrevating experience.
