Juego culiao malo
Resident Evil 5 takes the series to the sun-scorched landscapes of Africa. Unlike the earlier entries, it fully embraces fast-paced action over traditional survival horror. Whether that's a good thing or not ultimately comes down to personal preference, but one thing is certain—it never gets boring. The story is classic Resident Evil: over-the-top, delightfully cheesy, and incredibly entertaining as long as you don't overthink the logic behind it all. Chris embarks on a new mission where we finally reunite with Albert Wesker while also crossing paths with an old friend, Jill Valentine. For a game of its age, the visuals have aged surprisingly well. Even in 2026, it still looks perfectly respectable, although a full remake would certainly be welcome. That said, the presentation does suffer from one major relic of its era: the heavy green color filter applied across the entire game. Its muddy, swamp-like palette became so overwhelming that my co-op partner and I genuinely ended up with sore eyes after long play sessions. The controls are another story. The camera constantly seems determined to do its own thing, making combat—especially during the opening hours—far more frustrating than it needs to be until you eventually adapt. The game also has its fair share of technical issues. One of the most infamous examples is the boss that has to be defeated with fire. On modern PCs running at high frame rates, the boss can become practically immortal, and not even a rocket launcher will solve the problem. The only reliable fix is to cap the game at 30 FPS. We had no idea this bug existed, so by the time we finally looked it up, my co-op partner and I had already spent half an hour blaming each other for "doing it wrong." Turns out the game was the problem all along. Unfortunately, that's just one of several technical quirks scattered throughout the game. I played Resident Evil 5 entirely in co-op, and I'm convinced that's how it was meant to be experienced. Playing with a friend elevates the game tremendously and turns it into an incredibly fun cooperative adventure. It absolutely deserves a modern remake. With updated visuals, a more natural color palette, improved controls, and a few technical fixes, I genuinely think it could become one of the strongest entries in the series. I definitely recommend it—but ideally, bring a friend along for the ride.
I beat this game in seven minutes, seven minutes is all I can spare to play with you.
By far my top 1 resident evil game, other resident evil games are great but this one i liked the most, the locations, Chris and Sheva is one of my fav duos, our beloved Wesker which i had to take out (the fights were amazing), absolutely beautiful story, and great re-playability, the system with chapters and episodes is so good for replaying certain parts or even better to get the achievements that you want. The versus achievements are hard ash, but i guess that's the point. Variety of weapons, variety of treasures that u can get and then later sell for money and use the money to buy stuff in the store or upgrade your weapon, being able to buy infinite ammo for weapons is also cool because it will help A LOT in completion of the game on veteran and on professional mode (professional is HELLA hard). For me this game is beautiful in every way except of some pretty hard achievements. To be honest we need Sheva Alomar back in resident evil games, such a cool character, if they'd ever consider making a remake of re5 im buying it no matter the price fr.
bring this mercs mode back pls capcom, you have not revisited the peaks you once reached...
Another greet game from the series
