this is such a horrible follow up to re2. this does not maintain the eerie atmosphere or the quality of the previous game. i basically beat this in one sitting and i dont even know if i enjoyed it. its gameplay is objectively better than re2 but the length and boringness js makes me despise this game 6/10 play if you want carlos

Pretty short. Not nearly as good as RE2 but still enjoyable. It's more of an action game rather than a survival horror game.

Resident Evil 3 Remake: Review Score: 5/10 Oh boy, Resident Evil 3 Remake. This is a game that feels completely half-baked. My first playthrough clocked in at under five hours, and by the time the credits rolled, I audibly said to myself, "That's it?" And yeah... that was it. To start with the positives: visually, the game looks great—there's no doubt about that. I also really enjoyed the shift from slow-burn horror to a more action-focused feel as you sprint through the chaotic streets of Raccoon City just trying to survive. Setting those few positives aside, the game fails in almost every other area. Player exploration was sacrificed in favor of a overly linear design. Furthermore, while Nemesis looks awesome, he adds very little tension to the actual gameplay. Where Mr. X in RE2 Remake forced you to dynamically change your approach, Nemesis feels heavily scripted—only popping up when the plot demands it. Overall, Resident Evil 3 Remake is a textbook example of how not to do a remake. Instead of expanding on the original, Capcom cut features, leaving the final product feeling incomplete. It is best described as a $60 DLC expansion. Wait for a deep sale—at around $10, it's actually worth the money.

7/10 enjoyable but worse than the 2nd

Still highly recommend for all RE fans to play through!
