Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 19: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Resident Evil 3 gets poopied on way more than it deserves. I get why fans of the original have their issues with it, and a lot of those criticisms are fair, but if you judge the game for what it is instead of what it could've been, it's a really fun action horror game. The pacing is great, the environments are cool, and it keeps things moving without overstaying its welcome. It loses me a bit with how tanky some enemies can feel for a more action-focused game, though part of that is probably because I was pretty hit and miss with Jill's perfect dodge. Carlos' punch mechanic was fun to use as well. The biggest surprise for me was the cast. Jill is a great protagonist and a really refreshing female lead; she feels capable, strong, and down to earth. Carlos is great as well, and the cast in general has a strong presence they're all just good characters. Is it as good as RE2 & RE4 Remake? NO. Is it anywhere near as bad as some people make it out to be? Nah. 8.4/10
You did a fine job Carlos

There are some really amazing aspects to this game that build upon the foundation laid by the RE2 remake - However it doesn't quite feel like a full game. Despite that I still recommend RE fans and casuals to experience the game. After having played my first Resident Evil game just before starting 3, I was expecting a bit more of a fully fledged out experience. Instead what Resident Evil 3 Remake offers is much more akin to a DLC or expansion of RE2R. The runtime is quite short - I completed the game in its entirety on hardcore my first time through in 3 ~ hours. It also doesn't add much to the knowledge that I had already gained in RE2R. We learn a few bits and pieces of lore that give more information regarding Umbrella and some neat BTS stuff regarding
Marvin.
It was all just sort of...disappointing? Maybe it is just because I had just finished 2's remake the night before but 3 felt like it was leaving something on the table. So I did some research and it turns out that Capcom cut quite a bit out of the remake compared to what was in the original. I knew they had done that a little bit in 2's but from what I understand it wasn't quite as drastic as what they cut in 3's remake. Whole scenarios were taken out, multiple endings, live selection just to name a few. Which to me is quite disappointing as I feel a remake should be ADDING to the game that fans love and know rather than TAKING, at least to the extent that RE3R does it. It was also just much less scary and more just action? Along with the overabundance of action, I found that the
Nemesis was NOT an enjoyable enemy to fight/interact/involve myself with and actually felt like he detracted from my ability to explore and take in the beautiful and unique art direction the game took.
Which was quite unfortunate because one of my favorite parts of 2's remake was Mr.X and his slow stalking that you can hear from rooms apart. It allowed for exploration and story building while also providing a constant dread. Your heart would race when you heard his steps, your hand shaking as you quickly try to spam click open a door that won't budge, That isn't to say that all is bad about this game! While I don't enjoy Jill and Carlos as much as I like Claire and Leon, that doesn't mean they are bad characters. In fact I think they portrayed their emotions a bit better at times. You can really feel it in the way they speak and their actions. They are well written and well acted. I also thoroughly enjoyed the actual "gameplay" that the game offers as well. The shooting in this game feels absolutely phenomenal, the new guns they introduced felt great and powerful. On hardcore the default pistol is beyond horrible and so the game adding to my arsenal quickly was welcome. You can really feel the power progression
(Unfortunately I felt that the pacing that this was accomplished was done a little too fast. But this is supposed to be the positive part :p)
They had some quality of life changes to the looting in the game as well; Automatically stacking items into your inventory instead of having to go in and combine them was a game changer. All in all I think that RE3R is a fantastic game on its own and really had some bright spots compared to RE2R. However as a follow up game to 2's remake it feels like it missed its mark. It is hard for me not to think about what the reasoning was in cutting so much content, especially since the content was in the original. I would still recommend anyone who wants to play the game to play it as it is definitely not a bland experience and you will get that Resident Evil kick - but just go in with moderate expectations. Time to start RE4R :)
Fun and fast paced time killer. Don't expect any significant depth, this is a bit like sitting through a couple of quality B movies.
Talking about this game is much more complex than it seems at first glance. If we judge it by its original launch price, it is simply not recommendable at all due to its brief length. However, with the current deep discounts that slash its price by ninety percent, the perspective changes entirely and it becomes an experience that is absolutely worth your time. Rather than a slow survival horror, this remake plays out like a blockbuster action movie, filled with a few narrative blunders but completely packed with high-octane entertainment. One of the most satisfying elements of this title is how beautifully it interconnects with the events of the previous game. The streets of Raccoon City are filled with environmental references that reward your memory as a player, triggering comfortable moments where everything clicks and you understand exactly why certain things were structured the way they were when you played through the second entry. This environmental storytelling provides a great layer of cohesion to the outbreak. The short duration of the campaign remains a controversial point among fans, but it can actually be viewed as a major positive depending on your lifestyle. For someone with a busy agenda and a massive backlog of titles waiting to be played, not every experience needs to drag on for more than forty hours. This game respects your time and delivers a tight, focused adventure that fits perfectly into a limited gaming routine without adding unnecessary padding. Regarding the gameplay, the mechanical framework is incredibly smooth and responsive. Playing on normal difficulty might feel a bit too easy during the exploration segments, but the boss fights are perfect and highly memorable, especially the final encounter. The core loop retains the classic essence of running, solving puzzles, and managing resources, but it introduces a high reward mechanic with Jill's ability to roll and dodge attacks, which highly incentives a more action oriented playstyle. The campaign shifts brilliantly during a specific section where you take control of Carlos, completely changing the pacing of the game into something reminiscent of a frantic tower defense mode. On top of that, the narrative shines through its character dynamics, focusing on Jill's trauma and the fantastic relationship she forges with Carlos. He is easily the standout character of the entire script, being a genuinely funny and charismatic dude who carries the weight of the scenes. The story also pays great attention to how the virus is actively destroying the city and how different government forces are reacting to the crisis, creating a great sense of tension that sets the stage perfectly for what is to come next in the franchise. In conclusion, this remake is a weird product that might not be exactly what the purists were expecting back then. It is different, fast, and flawed, but at its current discounted price, it transforms into an absolute ought to buy that is incredibly fun to play.
