Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.43/day in the week to Sep 7 → 3.14/day in the week after.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.83/day in the week to Jul 21 → 4.6/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Probably my least favorite of the original three, but still a top tier game. Had an absolute blast replaying it. (9/10)
nemesis is great, controls somehow even more annoying than in 2.
I'm not the nostalgic sort. The game design and premise are still pretty great. It's hard to pick between the original and the remake. One has wear and tear from it's age and the other is still a shadow of it's former self. The original IS the better game but it's pretty hard for me to enjoy it as I once did. This won't be the case for everybody but there's a reason the idea of a remake had any appeal to begin with. Some can still manage it but the controls and bindings are pretty rough, dare I say awful; even with mods (which are a bit of an hassle to set up at least since I last configured it). While still a survival horror game, RE3 is also a lot more action focused than the prior two so it's a lot more bothersome and dare I say: C L U N K Y. I was growing up when these games were still new, so if I can dog on Metal Gear Solid's controls I should be able to dog on Resident Evil's. I like playing FPS games with W A S D and a mouse, but sometimes you had to use the arrow keys, space to shoot, and if you were lucky, hold another key to look up and down. With Resident Evil 3, I find the controls quite repugnant and even if it makes me sound stupid I'm going to assume they are also a big reason it took Capcom so long after RE4 (which has similar inputs) to realize that survival horror wasn't dated or unappealingly, but rather how one interfaced with it.
Reduction and a condensed version nobody needs like this game

Capcom understood that the classic survival horror formula and the story around Raccoon City was getting stale so they really went and did everything right here. Replayability is massive because of the non linearity, random enemies, items, events, your choices. Giving the city a proper send off, this game probably has the best ending in the whole franchise. Our hearts go out to those poor civilians of Raccoon City...
