It isn't worth playing. Boring gameplay, cliche history, annoying controls, bad level design. I would only recommend buying it if you wanna play in first hand everything you shouldn't do when developing a video game. The only part I enjoyed on this experience was finally seeing the credits rolling.
A nice, short, puzzle game with some clever mechanics. Movement control and some graphic aspects could be better but it often looks really nice and tidy. The story is psychology-based so if it's kind of stuff you like you'll enjoy it a lot. Sometimes it's hard to tell where to go but it's easy to figure it out after a bit of running around. Especially the endgame had the best puzzles and mechanics so if you don't like the beginning it gets a way better later!
So, I decided to give the game a shot because I don't have time to invest in one of those long 20+ hours games and this one is pretty accessible for me. It got my attention because of the minimalist presentation and shadow mechanics. I have to say, it took me a while to get used to the controls and the way it presents your character (spoiler: you are a shadow cast on the floor). But overall, the game is quite innovative - the puzzles are fun to solve with the ability to change the light source and create the paths allowing you to venture forth into the story (they are available later in the game, though). The story is interesting and the music drills into the mind like... well, a drill. To sum up - a pleasurable experience.
Gra wciągająca i dziwnie relaksująca. Pomysłowe mechaniki, ciekawy soundtrack i przyjemny voice acting. Polecam.
A beautifully artistic and introspective puzzle game. "Repressed" uses its shadow-based mechanics not just for style, but as a core part of the gameplay, which I really enjoyed. The exploration of psychological themes guided by a therapist's narration is compelling, though I wish the protagonist showed more emotional depth. The constant random falling got a bit frustrating, but overall, it’s worth playing.
Game is a short but memorable puzzle game that stands out thanks to its clever mechanics and unique premise. You play as the shadow of your own psyche, navigating a surreal landscape within your Memory Palace. This concept isn’t just for show — it directly shapes how you play. Light and perspective become essential tools, as shadows obey different physical rules than typical characters in games. While the game’s movement controls and some visual elements could use refinement, the overall presentation often feels clean and stylistically sharp. The psychological narrative adds meaningful depth, especially if you're drawn to introspective or symbolic storytelling. Some sections can be a bit disorienting, and it’s occasionally unclear where to go next. However, with a little trial and error, things tend to click into place. Even if the beginning doesn’t immediately grab you, it’s worth sticking with — it only gets better as you progress.
