Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 24 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
REGULATORS puts you in charge of a small squad of mercenaries hired to clear the city from mutating villains in this top-down tactical shooter game. Enter buildings from the streets, rooftops or sewers, and complete mission goals to locate the scientist commanding the mutating villains. And take them all out!
An Asteroid crashed in the city, and an Alien substance called the Ooze started seeping out of it. It was quickly discovered that the Ooze had great drug potential, and it had mutating powers to who-ever Oozes up on it! Sadly you are NOT immune to the effects of the Ooze, but it does come with some handy super powers..
Top-down shooter requiring some tactics and strategy.
Various missions: intelligence, hostage rescue, detonation, take down and more.
Procedural missions mixed in with pre-designed levels.
Five playable characters, 2 unlocked and 3 unlockable.
Two-player split-screen co-op mode
Level editor.
Alongside a host of gadgets, weapon upgrades and handy tools to increase your chances of survival, you also have at least one recruit alongside you following your every move and helping out where needed.
Your recruits will level up and become more useful than just serving as shield or frag meat! Learning tasks like place C4, collect intelligence data, defuse mines and much more.
The most important task for you: operate as a team and make sure you stay a live .. at all costs!
The alien substance that crashed in the city doesn't just mutate gang members and various other city dwellers. It has also given you super abilities! Each of the five playable characters has a different super power and a different dodge move.
The game gives you two unlocked characters and three locked ones.
Complete over 15 missions all over the city, from apartments to industrial area's, hospitals, banks, airfields and scrapyards! The missions are partly procedurally generated but using pre-designed interior maps. Giving the best of both rogue-likes and custom level-design gameplay.
Can you lead this squad to victory and defeat "Dr OozeBrain" ?
Sums Steam only; GOG, Epic publish no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.

Good game! Easy interface, fun missions. Interesting story. Thanks for making this!
Great top down shooter with unique mini game additions spread through out the levels. The pixel art style is similar to other games made by Orange Pixel. Looks amazing especially on handhelds such as the Steam Deck. Overall I would highly recommend this game.

Great fun! Regulators has a super retro feel that takes me back to days playing the likes of Double Dragon in the arcades. Love the little puzzles and stealth features and your trusty sidekick, who can take care of baddies while you're down to your last HP. I've played a couple of hours so far, and died quite a lot, but the game has been pretty easy to get to grips with, and it feels like there are many more layers to uncover. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a quick blast of satisfying shoot-em-up action.
Loving the new OrangePixel release! It's probably the studio's most complex to date and it really showcases how much love and attention was put into it.
Decently good game for the price 12,57€ for me at release. Lots of weapons to find and small gadgets to help on missions. Your squad member can level up and be upgraded. When you enter a mission you have some choices to make that can help you on that mission. There are hidden areas you can find, so melee some furniture and boxes to reveal the hidden vents and openings. You can see that a lot of love have went into this game. On release it only had a few issues for me. Keep in mind I am playing this on the Steam Deck, so the resolution is 1280 x 800. In the story screens some of the text was overlapping each other. I think it might have something to do with the Steam Decks special aspect ratio. The default twin stick shooter layout on the Steam Deck was set to use the bumpers for shooting and dashing which was very uncomfortable for me, but there is key remapping so I could set them to use the triggers instead. But outside the small quirks the game has, it is good fun. And the battery drain on the Steam Deck is excellent, this game does not sip much battery juice. Frame Limit was set to 60FPS and TDP limit was set to 7 watt, it ran smooth.
Regulators is one of the game's I've been waiting for! It has cool crunchy pixel graphics, great feel and allows you to find your own style of how to play! I definitely recommend it!
Regulators is a very fun, fast-paced twin-stick shooter. The pixel art and music are great. The power-ups and modifiers encourage replays, and the ability for a 2nd player to pick up a controller and seamlessly join is a definite plus. Most of my time has been spent on desktop, and it runs great there, but I can confirm it also runs great on the Steam Deck. If you're into top-down shooters with tight controls and game-play, this one is an easy buy.
Thanks Orangepixel for another good game, I have been following the development for a while and I am very happy than I can play it now!
Macht echt Laune. Tolle Atmosphäre und einfach auch total lebendig alles. Man kann einfach überall was entdecken.
