Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 3: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

US · last 30 days

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Replaying this game once more at the time of writing this review. I got this on sale for like -50% off, so about $25. Not bad, but not an amazing price either for a 16-year-old video game. However, the real novelty comes from running this game on a decent rig with a decent monitor. Feels like a totally new experience when it runs at 240 hz on an OLED with HDR support. Vanilla visuals still look great for their age, but I'd recommend Reality Redemption if you wanna spice things up a bit. If you have access to Nvidia filters, those are fun too, as this game is one of the few titles that shines with a couple of tweaks. Wait for a sale. Stick to playing this on a console if you're running a low-end monitor; at least multiplayer's still active on there unlike on PC, even if the playerbase is permanently on emergency life support.
毫无疑问的好游戏
I played Red Dead Redemption 2 first and was worried that this game would be a disappointment. Thankfully, it wasn't. While I consider RDR 2 to be better, RDR 1 is enjoyable. However, I think it's best bought on sale because of its somewhat dated feel and many tedious mechanics that detract from the game. The game has a rich, open world with plenty of things to do and explore. The story is interesting and in a period of history where the world was undergoing great change, and there are many characters to meet and interact with. The gameplay is fun and there are plenty of challenges to take on. The game has many problematic mechanics. Saving and fast travel are very tedious. Calling your horse is a pain because you usually have to call it multiple times and then it often doesn't stop close enough to you. Many of the tasks and games you have to do often, including saving and fast travel, have drawn-out animations that very quickly get boring. The automatic saving is often awful, leading to you having to travel a far distance to get back to wherever you died. No doubt these are all in the original game, but this remaster could surely have made improvements and dealt with these issues. These problematic mechanics are very painful for anyone who wants to get all the achievements. You will have to encounter them over and over again as you grind for 100%. I managed it, but it wasn't fun. The Undead Nightmare DLC was, for me, a low-quality experience. Its story is weak and has a tone that is a blend of seriousness and absurd that feels odd. It quickly becomes repetitive - you do the same thing many times over, such as saving the towns. Its achievements use randomness too heavily, which makes them a pain to get. Perhaps it had more merit when it was created and my view is skewed by the much richer zombie games that have come after it. Many of the elements that I enjoyed in RDR 2 are in RDR 1, and I enjoyed relating their stories. However, I can't help but notice that RDR2 does practically everything better: amongst other things, the story and characters are more detailed and nuanced, the world is richer, and there are many quality-of-life tweaks that improve the player experience. Of course, this is just my opinion and the question of which game is better is subjective.

Absoluto cine
Some trees flourish, others die. Some cattle grow strong, others are taken by wolves. Some men are born rich enough and dumb enough to enjoy their lives. Ain't nothing fair. You know that.
