Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Reviews
The content is great, and the gameplay fun for a while. The biggest problem is that this is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ console port. The controls are super clunky, there are a ton of annoying bugs, and no efforts were made to optimize this game from 2010, so the graphical performance is surprisingly poor. If it were $10 I'd say it's a buy, but on sale at $25? Nah.
Red Dead Redemption holds up even in todays standards. The story is quite immersive and engaging from start to finish throughout Johns story. The missions themselves are solid and varied enough to keep things somewhat engaging throughout. My one critique is the honor system, it's a great idea, but it never quite feels like it matters beyond discounts and a few minor interactions. I would've preferred more meaningful consequences tied to how I played like the prequel RDR2. However, the ending is undeniably when the game peaks. Even though I knew what was coming beforehand, it still hit quite hard. Overall, a game that's earned its status as a classic and one that's aged well, that being said charging $50 is criminal. 7/10

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 3: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

It took me 51 hours but I finally, finally finished Red Dead Redemption on PC. This rendition of the game appears to be highly controversial, mostly because of the price at full retail. However, I would argue that it is honestly quite irrelevant. I've been playing this game since the day it originally launched on the XBOX 360. I loved it then. I honestly think it is easily Rockstar's best game, other than GTA IV. Both games weren't well looked after on PC, Red Dead Redemption didn't even get a PC release, which says enough. It was a huge wasted opportunity and a crime against gaming. It finally got here and as it stands, it was well worth the wait. The game runs very smooth and looks better than it ever did on the XBOX 360. The new graphics updates are small but just enough to make the game look clean and sharp on higher definition monitors. The old textures etc are still there, preserving the original look of the game. The new PC controls are really good. I played a good chunk of it with mouse and Keyboard, which was pretty uneventful (which is great). It worked straight out of the box with no need to swap the layout. I completed the last half of the game with the Steam Controller, which honestly wasn't any different than using an XBOX controller. Again, very uneventful. I didn't have a single performance issue with the game. It performed how a big budget game should, without so much as a hiccup. It ran at a smooth 60 fps the entire time, no texture pop in, no failures to load textures etc. It didn't agree with my Steam Deck as much. There was a lot more slow down, which was mostly fixed with the advanced game settings of the Steam Deck itself. It's mostly in the big towns Armadillo, Thieves Landing and Blackwater. I assume it's the high body count in town that did it. But with a little tweaking, using the upscaling feature, I got it running at a good 40/50 fps. 60fps easy when John Marston wasn't in a town. The lack of multiplayer to some is an issue. But honestly, the multiplayer wasn't that good to begin with. It was all pretty shallow stuff with the world infested with griefers, just like GTA online. It's honestly not worth missing at all and I don't feel it detracts from the overall product. The overall product could be considered priced too highly. If you're one of those people who think the value of games is determined by it's age. But let's be realistic here. When was the last time we got a game THIS good in the 2020s? Red Redemption maybe hitting its 20th anniversary, but in terms of gameplay, setting, atmosphere, story, characters and writing, there's nothing out there now that can touch this game. The quality of the product justifies the asking price. This is a mandatory play for any gamer, especially fans of the western setting. and yes, I paid full price and didn't regret it one bit.
8.7/10 Amazing game to come back around to after finishing the game when I was 10 years old on the 360. The world is great but I wish it was a bit bigger and had more activities / side missions to do especially after finishing and getting the chance to play as an adult Jack Marston. The story is great and if R* have anything else planned after GTA6 comes out it should be a remaster of RDR1 to fill holes in the story that were made by RDR2. Overall for a game that came out in 2010, it was genuinely way ahead of its time and should be a way more respected video game. Kinda insane its still $50 after the games been out for 16 years but definitely recommend sitting through and playing the game if you can catch it on a sale. Undead Nightmare is also one of the best DLC campaigns in gaming history too btw.
good
Certified hood classic
Nice game but way too inflated with filler content. In typical Rockstar fashion they have a nice idea that they've polished well with an interesting plot, but so much useless BS along the way. No one really cares about the mundane minigames, having to ride around for hours collecting stuff around the map, or the annoying characters who are there to pad out the story with their reddit-tier antics. Besides that, the gameplay is very solid if a little shallow, and the story is genuinely interesting. Ending is extremely effective and memorable
