About
RAM is a top-down roguelike shooter with a defining twist: you don’t have a body. You play as a rogue AI, jumping between enemy robots to survive. Turn your enemies into your weapons and fight your way through a post-apocalyptic world run by quirky robots.
Every enemy is a potential host. Switch control at a moment’s notice between unique enemy types, each with a distinct moveset and playstyle, and their own arsenal of upgrades to unlock.
Digital pets. Student projects. Sentient memes. Within a year, they were all that remained of intelligent life. After ten, it was just the strong ones. And in 2120… one of them made you. How much longer until there’s nothing left at all?
Traverse the ruins of the human world across multiple procedurally-generated levels, and contend with the eccentric mechanical societies that have risen to inhabit them.
RAM expands the style systems seen in games like Devil May Cry and Ultrakill by making style points in-run currency. Master combat techniques and execute trickshots to earn a diverse array of upgrades that modify how each host robot functions, then pit your accumulated strength against dangerous bosses with their own unique swap-related mechanics.

This is probably one of my new favorite games for awhile. the characters are interesting, the gameplay is very fun yet hard. the setting is really interesting. i love this game.
Incredibly underrated. very cinema. good fights. good yaps. i recommend a lot.
Good gameplay but reset my save file after relaunching which is incredibly stupid.
This game is extremely fun, though i suck too much to have beat it or even really challenged myself to much with it. the only criticism is that the game seems to have no way to save your run if the game closes unexpectedly. I'll admit, this is mostly a me problem, as my pc atm has a very stupid shutdown/crashing problem that most likely don't have. Would recommend, 10/10
Roguelike legal : )

Actually stellar game. RAM is already a decent 2D roguelike without its main feature, as the controls and artstyle make for a pleasant experience. However, the game is built around the fact that you play as the enemies, constantly swapping and mind-controlling different ones. This allows for a ridiculous level of flexibility not only in your moveset but also in your ability to set up trickshots, seeing as controlled hosts will continue taking the actions you commanded them to for a short while after you swapped away from them. The only critique I have of the game is that it's short (a successful run to the final boss takes about 30 minutes if you're fast), but seeing as it is a roguelike, you're also expected to replay the game multiple times and die many, many times before even clearing the first zone. Furthermore, the NPCs in the hub are decent fun to chat with and there are a few minigames you can play between runs. So PLEASE PLAY THIS GAME. RAM deserves much more exposure than it has at the moment.
Amazing game. Some time ago i played the demo and im so glad that the game has full relase!
