DO Not buy the guide edition its a waste of money get the game on its own and buy the dlc separate, i wish i had looked at it before buying it

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

As a great fan of RE1 I was looking forward for this game. Luckily I followed my impulse to wait until RE2 was offered with a significant discount. Had I payed the official 60 € for this game I'd have been really p******. Here's why: - in the basic game almost no new vehicles - boring campain with side missions that feel like created randomly, often with no clue how to solve them - scenarios are narrated generally by this annoying figure in the white uniform - maps are so condensed that, in some places, it is impossible to build tracks that fulfill the needs - the most annoying (dis)function of RE1 for me is still in place: * you have a long track with critical impact on some timebound objective * you change the slightest setting on this track, like adding a signal, when the train to fulfill the objective is on it's way * the train with the critical load, already on the way for ages, reaches the destined station, does NOT unload but turn around, and head, fully loaded, back to its starting point I dragged myself through the campain, and, after a few trials on scenarios, I retired this game. For the about 20 € I payed that is acceptable for me, but nothjing more.
i got this game cause i was looking for a simple trading and growing sort of game and this game isnt what i was looking for its way too clunky trains dont pull over for other trains when you have built space for it its like train stations get too big then i wont let u start a new train run just very disapointed thought this was the simple but satisfying trade business building game i was in the hunt for but fell way short
nice upgrade to stations that allow even city stations to act as warehouses. shame you can only upgrade to 2 distinct additions per station
nice grafics but that's about it. algorithms are totally screwed. trains waiting to get into station because another trains thinks it's ok to cross and block all tracks inside the station. more than 2 rails per direction? not going to work even on slow paced tracks. no slip lanes or overtake tracks! important messages hardly to be discerned from unimportant ones. TF2 does a lot better job at this kind of games!
An improvement over the original Railway Empire in every aspect. Very enjoyable.
If you liked Railway Empire 1, you will definitely like Railway Empire 2 as well.
игра не работает
For everyone who loved its predecessor like me: It's basically the same game, with a lot of good quality of life improvements. Gone are the days of placing endless signals, gone are the days of placing countless warehouses, gone are the days of placing a railroad station with only up to four tracks leading into it. Also there are a ton of new sceneraios, bigger maps and new trains to play with. While all of these things could be summarized as being rather minor changes, I still think the game is as enjoyable as railway empire 1. If you liked the first one and can pick this game up in a nice sale: Go for it!
