About

There never quite seem to be enough bunny girls in the world, so here is another for you aficionados out there. This 2D sidescrolling exploration platformer follows the adventure of Erina, whose humdrum life as a regular rabbit is turned upside-down when she finds herself in an unknown world and turned into a human (with rabbit ears)!
Along the way she meets the cheerful pink-haired fairy, Ribbon, who mysteriously chooses to stay by Erina’s side.
These unwitting heroes embark together on their quest to restore Erina’s life to normalcy, but who knows what troubles lurk, waiting for them…

Rabi-Ribi is a 2D exploration platformer that focuses on non-linear gameplay. There will be hints to guide the player along, but they’re never required to follow them, which allows for much greater freedom to—you guessed it—explore.
Players will play as our protagonist Erina, who focuses on close quarters combat. Ribbon the fairy is the ranged attacker who follows Erina’s lead, indirectly controlled by the player.
Erina may be a little rabbit that was turned into a human, but that doesn’t stop her from being capable of some pretty neat moves.
Both Erina and Ribbon’s abilities can be improved by learning new skills and attacks through collecting items and upgrades that are spread throughout the world.
What trinkets and skills to pick up is up to the player; dare you challenge hard mode without any items?

Bought this game in 2021, one of, if not my favorite game of all time, every year I wanted to share my feelings about this game after I 100% it, and this day has finally come. Rabi-Ribi is a fusion between a metroidvania and a bullet hell game. Maybe at first you would think that it's two genres that don't go well together, well this game is here to tell you otherwise. Do you want to try a bullet hell game even though you're not good at it ? This game offers you 6 difficulties to choose from (+2 with DLC) and can be enjoyed by every type of player ! Do you want to not be stuck by an invisible wall or a pop up message that tells you what to do without being able to explore ? This game is the definition of that. Break the game ? You can. Break the order of the bosses to fight ? You can. Go places you weren't supposed to go this early ? You can. Do you want to do a 0% run and win without taking any items ? You can. Can you skip literal chapters of the game with some hidden tech that you will learn if you explore enough ? No of course it would be too mu- YES YOU CAN. The metroidvania part is really good, you will go back and forth to the destination you have already explored for more badges or stats up that you missed or just couldn't get at that time without this specific item and it feels really rewarding to do so. Talking about items to get, they are EVERYWHERE, bomb every corner ! If you think there could be an item here, probably there is one ! Erina (your character) can feel a bit clunky at the start but you will quickly get some movement items that will help her become mobile and it's really fun to move with her once you have those items ! The bullet hell part is also really well done and doesn't feel out of place, the bosses are fun (+50 if you count the DLC bosses) and you will get a ton of bullets on your screen depending on the difficulty you have chosen. No need to tell much on this part since the best way to understand it is by playing it ! And then, the OST. Maan, they are phenomenal. I will forever remember the feeling I got when I heard the slowed version of "Unfamiliar Place" when I started the game for the first time, no talking, no moving, just listening. (honorable mention to "Icy Summit", "Speicher Galerie" and "The Truth Never Spoken" and others that I listen to from time to time even to this day). The only "bad" points I could give are probably that the story is quite simple, and there is some fanservice in the game but to be honest the simplicity is pleasant in this case, the contrast of getting beaten up by bosses and then reading a cute story with cute characters is a good thing in my opinion. For the fanservice, I know some people don't like it so I put it there. Personally, it didn't bother me at all so I enjoyed it. The devs put real love in this game and it shows. I hope the same love will go to the future Rabi-Ribi 2 and I'm waiting every second for it. Thank you, CreSpirit.
Divertido y Emocionante de jugar.
Great platformer. Definitely has a story.
对于喜欢弹幕游戏和探索的人来说是推荐的,但如果只是被画风吸引的话还是算了
is there a competent metroidvania underneath if you can get past the cringe dialogue and fanservice? yeah. is it an overwhelmingly positive metroidvania? nah. it's solid enough and the game goes on sale all the time. map is garbage.
I fkn love this game. Literally the most fun metroidvania I've ever played.
재밌다!
