Prototype 2

Absolute joke. priced at 20 for a 14 year old game that literally needs like 10 different work arounds just to work. And when I finally got on the game it ran at 20 fps. COD4 came out in 2007 and i had 400 fps at 2k on that but no prototypes capped at 1080 and 20 frames. What a joke of a port.

Prototype is a beautiful disaster of a game, while it sucked hard in writing, was clearly rushed to all hell, it still holds a place in my heart, after finally managed to get it running and have a working debug menu with it, i can definitely say it's worth it if you have prototype 1, which is also a nightmare of a game to run, other than that it's pretty fun, something to mention is that it is really really short, like legit you can 100 percent this game without even trying by using the collectables menu and completing all the side missions, and after that, that's about it, you'll start a new game do everything over again, max your upgrades and in like 2 days you can 100 percent this game easily lol! This game could've been so and i mean SO much better, but the crappy writers, rushed time frame and going overbudget is what buried this game with a whole lot of other issues! but other than that it's fine, with dlcs you get some pretty cool skins, which although are a bit lacking are pretty interesting! man a reboot of prototype is absolutely needed if they wanna bring back this franchise, a prototype 3 that's from the original prototype 2 can work, but that's only if they do the same exact thing as they do for a simple remake of the 2nd, so i recommend they just reboot prototype 2 instead, i can sense this game was made with passion, just very poorly lol. this franchise has been completely abandoned, there's not even the barebones "remastered" versions ported, which don't really do that much should've fixed the modern pc issues, but more for the first, like fixing modern pc issues and actually making anti aliasing work! The art style people still cooked through, Mercer looks amazing (especially the armor and max level powers) audio design was crisp as the first game, (although the sounds of guns were better in the first imo) this game had pretty trash marketing too lol. legit one of the promo events was someone in cosplay James Heller tweaking out in a plexiglass box lmao, plus with some greedy dlc methods from back in the day really poisoned the start lol.

Никогда в жизни мне хотелось поцеловать руки разработчикам, пока я не поиграл в этот шедевр. Во второй Прототип было пипец как интересно играть, и ты прям чувствуешь что играешь за опасного мутанта убивающий на своём пути всё и вся (в отличие от первой части). И я получил кайф от этой игрушки, даже на высокой сложности. Сюжет интересный. Катсцены великолепные, не смотря на то что они темныё и в основном чёрно-белые. Все 3 зоны отлично детализированы. Геймплей стал намного лучше и приятнее. Джеймс больше не умирает с пяти пуль, критическая масса поместилась в отдельную шкалу а навыки наконец-то охватывают группу врагов своими ударами, а не одного или трёх противников. Особенно понравились щупальцы, с ними было очень интересно играть (спасибо билду 4-ого паука). Миссии стали чуть поинтереснее и разнообразнее. Слава Богу не надо рвать себе жопу на заданиях с защитами объектов, они стало намного легче. В целом, эта игра на 3 голове лучше чем первый Прототип. И как я уже сказал, даже на высокой сложности в неё обалденно играть. Настоятельно рекомендую

Fun but short and there are really only two boss fights. I wants Prototype 3 and it should have more mutation, zombie type and boss fights. When I transformed into a commanders I wants to be able to command the soldier around and I wants to be able to transform into the infected like the brute and the claw bruiser. You can't do that in prototype 2.

Seit langem mal wieder Installiert in der Hoffnung dass es läuft. Und wer hätte es gedacht? Es stürz noch schneller ab als vorher. Direkt nach dem Start. vielleicht bringe ich es noch zum laufen allerdings kam nicht einmal eine Fehlermeldung.

Not as great as the first game, but still enjoyable in it's own way.
