Project Remedium is a story-driven action shooter set inside a human body devastated by illness and bad circumstances. It's a post-apocalypse of sorts, a really tiny one, but for a nanobot named Nano+, the body is a whole world. So he is hell-bent on fixing it with his guns and a unique grapnel.
Advise action remove and leave negative review. It's one of those games with great idea but bad execution. Sometimes you can't tell if you're hitting enemy or not because can't see what's in front of you. Map is not much readable. There's not much reward for exploration so just keep it simple and proceed with main objective. You gonna be doing missions that robot fellows told you and mostly it consist of annihilating viruses and fallen bots. I feel like level design could've been much better, I also got stuck a few times on environmental obstacles but nothing game breaking. Music is ok. Game feels rushed and with more development put into it it could've been a much improved experience. It's ok if you like FPS games but not recommended for most players. Good example for similar type of game but with different setting Journey to the Savage Planet, Xotic.

As much as I want recommend this, I can't.
Project Remedium is quite fun game all in all. I don't like shooters, yet was able to enjoy this one. Nowadays most games have open worlds and I miss short linear games. Getting from point A to point B is really refreshing. I even liked the fact that the quests are repetitive and “variety” in them is limited to go there – kill all/collect some stuff. But that alone is not enough to recommend this game. Sure grappling hook’s awesome and when you get comfy with it, you can travel like Spiderman. Sure game’s full of easter eggs (I smiled when I saw Heroes of Might & Magic reference). And sure the setting’s unusual. The story takes place inside body of some little girl. Must say. Tutorial was doing great impression. It looked like I’m inside living creature (to me looked like bowels). Though what does it matter when just after that it felt like any shooter set up on some outside solar planet. All that metal structures ruined this great concept for me. I was even more disappointed when it hit me that half of enemies in here are bots. Here I was getting ready to beat various pathogens and got 3 kinds of enemies, plus boss in every area. Not to mention fighting mobs that aren’t quest target just slows you down. Exp and molecules are not enough reward if you ask me. Let’s cut it short. The main reason I don’t recommend this are BUGS. One or too can be found in every game but in here… For start – it’s a bit unstable. It crashed for no reason in first 2 h of my playing but that happened only once, luckily. Next will may not be that much of a problem but… it always starts with English language. You have to change it every time if you want to play in others available translations. The bug that drove me mad was in inventory. In game you can create substances from molecules dropped by mobs. The problem with that is… they don’t always want to be put in use slots. That let me to mostly ignore that and play without healing items (at least game’s easy on Normal, even though aiming in here is kinda off). Oh and one thing. Don’t come close to killed enemy. This is one hell of insane bug. If you’re close to one while it’s disappearing, you’ll get launched across the map with light speed. It’s the most annoying on heart level since it’s the most open area in game. It’s well known bug though won’t be fixed since the game’s abandoned. Before I go to the worst bug I’m gonna rant about achievements. I don’t know why but some looks bugged. For some reason 2 story ones didn’t unlock for me and replaying levels did not work at all. So keep that in mind you may not get them all. Lastly the biggest BUG you can find. The one that made many quit paying. Quests markers sometimes aren't in right place. You need to keep in memory location of some bots and ignore the marker couse it’s in wrong place. And devs knew about that years ago. This never got patched. They just left it so gamers would be confused. I did like the game. Even though it has bugs, has story that’s all over the place but I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Not with this many bugs.

A really interesting and unique game concept!! An FPS inside the human body, fighting viruses and etc! If you don't mind the ocasional bugs from a small dev's studio, you should give this game a chance! It's actually a bit hard even on 'normal' dificulty! I really wish they make a sequel or continued to improve this one... The Corona pandemic could have served as a nice DLC... *bought it on a sale*
kann es nicht empfehlen.
Project Remedium is a story driven FPS with an Osmosis Jones/Fantastic Voyage theme as the FPS levels are set inside the human body. It's a viable theme for a game, but the developers apparently didn't bother doing any testing at all on PC. As soon as you set the resolution to 4K, the menu becomes impossible to navigate due to overscan/DPI issues, so you can't tweak the settings anymore. Complete screw-up. I have a firm policy of not recommending people pay a whopping $15 USD for games where the developers don't even bother with basic testing. That's insulting. Edit: The developer has responded, let's see if they actually fix the problem so the game can run properly on modern PCs.

Eng: The basic concept of having to fight in a human body is a good idea in my opinion. However, the game ends up being about going here or there, then coming back, then going back to the same place again. It's incredibly annoying when a marker shows you where to go, but when you get to the character, nothing happens. It works fine when you exit and re-enter. But there's also a solution I saw on YouTube where you have to go to a character for a mission, but you don't have to go there, but to another one. I don't really see the point of the map, it just shows us where we are. The weapons are good, varied. And I like this molecule collection too. The enemies that spawn suddenly don't. The final boss fight is sweaty. I would rate this game as a strong average, but since the missions are buggy, it only works if you exit multiple times. That's why I can't recommend it. Only if they fix it.
