I wanted this game to be good as I'm longing for a VS bullet heaven with Mechs, but this game somehow has made Giant robots boring as hell, the enemies are uninspired, the sfx are uninspired, the music is uninspired frankly, this whole game is uninspired. the one area that i feel could be good is the Mech variety, but unforunately to get to really see any of it, you have to sit through what might be the most boring Bullet Heaven game I've ever played.
Another game in the long line of games that doesn't deserve a thumbs down but doesn't quite deserve a thumbs up either. I enjoyed the first Project Lazarus game to the point I 100%'ed it. This one has more mechs and weapons to use but it has some glaring issues which hopefully get addressed. The first big problem I had was unlike the first game some of the monsters will literally spawn underneath you when they appear on the screen causing damage to you. In a bullet heaven game like this that is bad news. This is extremely noticeable if you are running the weapon that occasionally wipes out everything on the screen at once. I don't remember this happening in the first one at all. I've also seen monsters get stuck in the terrain on this one. They get caught inside rocks or mountains quite frequently. Despite these bugs this one is enjoyable and plays very similarly to the first game. I recommend it if you liked the first one.
Unfortunately this is a total cash grab/abandonware. I liked the first one and thought this would be an upgrade and more complete but unfortunately not. Way to many bugs and no communication from the devs. Save your time and money.
I like it better than the first one. it seems they learned from a few things and made the graphics bit better to the eye. I have one big problem tho and its spawning! it seems unlike the first one where they would spawn away from you on the edge of map and move in on you this time they can spawn on top of you and end a run if you are low on health. this is a flaw. they shouldnt spawn on top of you or even few tiles from you. this needs to be fixed but other than that the game is great. i got no other issues. love the new weapons an tec plus we get new mecs
Even better than the first one! If you are a fan of survivor's-like games then you should totally get this :-)
Nice little bullet-hell mech game. Enjoyed the first one, and this one is a nice improvement - much more polished, and a better UI. Recommended!
Not only bad but unrewardong. in most of those type games you can get pasives that boosts your toon to some degree, same as help you get the gear you wanted. In here you will not get it. only pasive boost you can count on is to increased exp/money and that is all. you can unlock couple of rerolls, but not only rng is bad here, there are additional perks / consumables mixed in and you cannot ban them, making it a bad expirience (restoring health could be use full but not in the early stage, where it only makes you loose perk, same with damage amplification for 70 seconds and so on) at end of a day you will almost never get what you want. the progres is that your starting weapons start from higher level. thats it. also there are a lot of bugs / useles weaons. for example turrets. turrets are stationary - meaning the shoot in one direction so if there are no mobs well... to bad for you (good luck fighting booss using turrets) bomb drops: most of the time they hit places with no mobs.., so mostly useles rotatin orb - in theory it should rotate around your toon and hit mobs that come to close. but if you choose bigger toon like dragon (lizard like toon) the circle is smaller than the toon making it useles... there are "enchancements" that regenerates your healts / armor but... thy do not work on certain toosn at all...
