I have to say, this is a very polished Shmup, it reminded me a bit of the Life Force/Gradius games although this game isn't as hard as those games. This is still a very fun shooter game to sink your teeth into. The only real problem that I found was that the game was too short, just five stages, but I think that is average for an arcade shooter like this one so I won't fault it. Highly recommended.

funny tongue-in-cheek writing, and the game is rly good at introducing concepts organically and layering them in. the music is suitably epic. wish some of the boss fights had more phases or variations, but the ones that do are really fun. i haven't beaten it yet but the last boss in particular has a few great conceits. still need to try multiplayer but i appreciate that you can team moves! would def play any future deadly red cube games
