It is cheaper to buy this game than just the emoticon on the market so here I am. I had no idea what to expect. It is modern arcade like. Reminds me of the N64 Alien game 👾 Space Invaders. It was fun for about 30 minutes and then I went a little cross-eyed when I realized I was going to have to keep playing for another hour and a half. There are various game modes giving you an array of gameplay styles to best suit you. In several modes you can select the map much like mario kart so the scenery and music changes. Selecting your skin and weapon is easy enough 😅 It's not bad but you won't see me playing 2,000 hours on this. This game is good for beginners learning WASD and perhaps those who never got to play the OG variations. I could have gotten more achievements in the 2 hours if I had researched prior but this will be a game you really have to enjoy/invest hours into to perfect the game to 100% completion. There is a pink foil alien badge for any girls who like the pink/spooky ones and of course the stars emoticon is used in multiple art creations for comments. I will paste my two favorites in the comments and you can decide if it's worth it to you ♥︎
Decent shooter for up to 4 players! Pick your mech and loadout each having unique weapons and abilities. Stages are interesting enough. At first I was a bit off, because of controller issues but later it worked fine. Game have a bit of sword slashing and extensive upgrade system. Game have 10 stages. Boss fights that will rip hair out of your nose. Recommended.

Stardust Galaxy Warriors: Stellar Climax is a vibrant action shooter developed and published by Dreamloop Games that combines classic arcade-inspired gameplay with modern customization systems and cooperative multiplayer. Blending elements of side-scrolling shooters and twin-stick combat, the game delivers a fast-paced science-fiction adventure where explosive battles, giant bosses, and endless weapon combinations take center stage. Its colorful presentation and humorous tone help create an experience that feels energetic from the opening moments until the final confrontation. Set in a galaxy threatened by powerful enemies and escalating chaos, the game follows a cast of eccentric heroes tasked with restoring order through overwhelming firepower. The narrative is intentionally lighthearted and filled with jokes, parody, and self-aware humor. Rather than focusing on complex storytelling, the game uses its comedic personality to keep the adventure entertaining between battles. This approach gives the universe a distinctive identity and prevents the campaign from taking itself too seriously. The gameplay immediately stands out thanks to its emphasis on mobility and customization. Players pilot powerful spacecraft capable of equipping a wide range of weapons and special abilities. Combat is built around constant movement, rapid attacks, and quick reactions as enemies swarm the screen from multiple directions. The controls are responsive and accessible, making it easy to jump into the action while still providing enough depth for players who enjoy mastering advanced tactics and loadout combinations. One of the game's strongest features is the extensive selection of weapons and upgrades. Instead of limiting players to a fixed arsenal, Stardust Galaxy Warriors encourages experimentation by offering numerous ways to customize a ship. Different weapon types can dramatically alter combat strategies, allowing players to focus on direct damage, crowd control, defensive support, or specialized builds. This freedom creates a rewarding progression system where discovering effective combinations becomes a major part of the fun. Combat encounters are consistently exciting because of the sheer variety of enemies and situations. Regular foes appear in large numbers, filling the screen with projectiles and forcing players to stay alert. The game manages to create a sense of chaos without becoming frustrating, striking a balance between challenge and accessibility. Each battle rewards smart movement and efficient use of weapons, ensuring that success feels earned rather than automatic. Boss encounters are among the most impressive aspects of the experience. Massive enemies with unique attack patterns serve as major milestones throughout the campaign. These battles often require players to adapt their strategies and fully utilize their chosen loadouts. The visual spectacle of facing enormous mechanical threats or alien monstrosities creates memorable moments that help distinguish the game from many smaller arcade shooters. Every victory against a powerful boss delivers a satisfying sense of achievement. The visual presentation is another area where the game excels. Bright colors, detailed effects, and stylish ship designs create a lively science-fiction world that is constantly engaging to look at. Explosions fill the screen with energy, laser fire illuminates battles, and enemy designs showcase a strong sense of creativity. The cartoon-inspired art direction allows the game to remain visually appealing while supporting its playful atmosphere. Audio design contributes significantly to the experience as well. The soundtrack features energetic music that perfectly complements the frantic pace of combat. Explosions, weapon effects, and other sound cues provide satisfying feedback during battles, making every encounter feel impactful. Together, the visual and audio elements create an arcade-like atmosphere that keeps players immersed throughout the campaign. Cooperative multiplayer adds considerable value to the overall package. Playing alongside friends transforms the action into a highly entertaining team experience where players can coordinate attacks and support one another during difficult encounters. The game's design naturally accommodates multiplayer sessions, and the added chaos of multiple ships on screen often makes battles even more enjoyable. This mode greatly increases replayability and helps the game stand out among similar titles. Progression remains rewarding throughout the adventure. Unlocking equipment, refining builds, and experimenting with new strategies provide reasons to continue playing long after the basics have been mastered. The game successfully combines the immediate excitement of arcade action with longer-term progression goals, creating a satisfying loop that encourages repeated playthroughs. While the game offers a tremendous amount of fun, it is not without flaws. The abundance of visual effects can occasionally make battles feel cluttered, especially during multiplayer sessions or boss encounters. Players seeking a serious narrative may also find the comedic tone too exaggerated. However, these issues are relatively minor when compared to the strengths of the overall experience. Stardust Galaxy Warriors: Stellar Climax succeeds because it understands exactly what kind of game it wants to be. It delivers explosive combat, meaningful customization, memorable boss fights, and enjoyable cooperative gameplay without unnecessary complications. The result is a highly entertaining shooter that captures the spirit of classic arcade action while adding enough modern features to remain engaging for today's players. Fans of science-fiction shooters and cooperative action games will find plenty to enjoy in this colorful and energetic adventure. Rating: 8/10
