The story is one of the best I've seen. It does have some very difficult platforming sections though.

it's a good game with some flaws and questionable design choices. It plays like a metroidvania game. The bad and questionable things -why is the combat tutorial 2 hours into the campaign after beating multiple bosses? it should be the very first thing to teach the player. it is a great tutorial wish I learn it at the start and make the journey enjoyable -trash enemies are fast and hit real hard and player may die to them at new encounters until their pattern is learned. It looks like they are scoring critical hits sometimes too, not sure. -parry window and telegraphing is different for each enemy and you will eat those hard blows and learn, not a fun way -combat has some issues, the game tends to let the player die, learn and repeat instead of engagement play. Good things +fantastic art style and direction. color palettes reminds me of the 2008 game. +great music +fantastic and stylish character designs +great voice acting +good story telling +memory mechanic for POIs

Love this game! This is the first time playing any 2D Metroidvania game. It has such good platforming and puzzles. I really enjoyed exploring it felt natural. And the setting of the game is just fabulous. Developers have put some really good work into it. The boss fights were not bad either. The background music was okay it wasn't that memorable. There were some bugs out of nowhere, my controller's right trigger stops working, and I have to relaunch the game.. Ubisoft should release more games like this, but sadly there won't be any sequel to this. Still, I am happy that I gave it a try. This is such an easy gateway for anyone who wants to get into Metroidvania games. (9.5/10)

Buen metroidvania. Mapa muy grande con plataformas desafiantes por momentos y el combate está bastante bien. Al final es un juego bastante rápido y dinámico. Eso sí, tiene tirones a veces y el launcher de ubisoft es un desastre. Nada nuevo.

Ignoring the extremely valid complaint of having to use Ubisoft Connect, I think we have a pretty good game on our hands. My initial reaction was that it was very much a style over substance thing and while the game does try very hard to be as flashy as possible, you'll find that there is a lot of meat on the bone regardless. The map is reasonably big, the environments are varied enough and a lot of them make for pretty striking visuals. Combat feels nice and so does the platforming for the most part. Bosses aren't particularly hard but they're very cool and enjoyable regardless. There is unfortuntely a fair bit of bugs (mostly visual) like with any ubisoft game and it can definitely be very demanding or even straight up unreasonable with some of the endgame platforming challenges but overall I enjoyed it and can recommend it to any metroidvania fan, assuming they don't mind buying an ubisoft game.
