Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Jul 30 → 0.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This game is really good and reminds me a lot of the classic shadow of the colossus. its almost like a copy in the sense that theres an open world with the freedom to wander around and explore in search of items and upgrades, but the main focus is finding and fighting giant titans that each have different appearances, attack patterns and ways to approach them... the core idea is still the same for all of them, you need to climb them using the parts covered in fur and attack the weak spots across their bodies until you defeat them. its always the same process of climbing and striking their weak points to beat the bosses, but i found the climbing and combat system much easier and less frustrating than shadow of the colossus. even so the game is still pretty challenging bc even on easy difficulty youll usually die in a single hit if a titan steps on you, no matter which difficulty youre playing on.

If it was just boss fights I would probably recommend the game, but it's ruined by the tedious, grindy, time-wasting survival mechanics. Weapons break after a few hits, you're constantly having to manage hunger, stamina, temperature etc. Everything you do has some sort of resource cost and it's just tiring having to keep track of it all. The world feels empty, combat is clunky, climbing barely works (sometimes you'll randomly fall or flip upside down for no reason). There's no reason to explore because any cool gear you find will be broken after a small amount of use so what's the point? It costs too much for what's on offer and I don't see how 80% of players recommend it when roughly 8% of them actually *finished* the game...
Too janky. Frustratingly so.
This was purely a game to ride off of Shadow of the Colossus. It's sad to see that it went the way of a basic :Run around and find resources" simulator rather than an actual game. I could not recommend it in good faith.
Underdeveloped game with a lot of missed opportunities. Q: Would I recommend? A: Only on a heavy discount and if you're ready to get bored. [+] 1) Tight leather pants At least something to look at in this game... 2) Overall good performance There are some huge FPS drops, especially during boss fight, but overall solid native 4K 120+ FPS performance. 3) Good idea, but underdeveloped [-] 1) No in-game FPS limiter 2) Crude, unpolished 3) Big, but empty world 4) Simple survival elements 5) Repetitive 6) Find boss, climb boss, ring the bells, repeat 7) Plain textures 8) Occasional flickering 9) Occasional bugs Conclusion: 5/10
What's to say that hasn't been said? It's attempting to recapture the gameplay and atmosphere of Shadow of The Colossus, but unfortunately falls short. That doesn't mean it's a bad game by any means, but Praey for The Gods sets itself a very high bar. I enjoyed it for the most part, but the survival mechanics are unnecessary. Thankfully, you can turn them almost entirely off. I appreciate that the team tried to add things to the SotC formula (minibosses, crafting, etc), and I liked the grappling hook a lot, but mostly it takes away from the core of the game - the bosses. And how are the bosses? Eh... they're okay. Sometimes a bit wonky with the physics and a little frustrating, but for the most part fun to fight. It's just unfortunate that this game has half the bosses of SotC, cutting down from 16 to 8. I dunno. I commend them from trying new things, and I did enjoy most of my time with the game, but it left me a little unsatisfied. With SotC I beat the game several times and got every achievement - I wanted to spend more time with it. PftG left me with an initial desire to explore some more, but then I released there wouldn't be anything exciting to experience beyond the main campaign. TLDR: If you're curious, it's worth a playthrough if you can get it on sale.
Just a janky ripoff version of shadow of the colossus. Highly disappointed in the gameplay and physics. 2/10
Jogão. É uma cópia de Shadow of the colossus + Zelda Breath of the wild, mas não me importo, é gostosinho de jogar.
Terrible. Controls and fights are clunky, slow and far from enjoyable.
