Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.57/day in the week to Jul 30 → 3/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Possessor(s) is a fast-paced action side scroller with combat inspired by platform fighters, a story told through dangerous characters, set in a deep interconnected world ready for exploration.
Play as Luca, the host, and Rhem, her less-than-cooperative counterpart, as they explore a quarantined city ripped apart and flooded by an interdimensional catastrophe. Their only hope of survival is by learning to co-exist.
Possessor(s) takes place across the interconnected sprawl of a destroyed mega-city, from collapsed skyscrapers to an abandoned aquarium, all riddled with secrets. Hauntingly beautiful 3D environments form a stunning backdrop over which hand-drawn and animated characters, and mysterious sci-fi horror action take center stage.
Choose multiple paths in an open-ended world structure as you look to uncover the truth behind the catastrophe. Meet a cast of engaging characters, each with their own heart-breaking story to follow in the aftermath of the devastation.
Gameplay is centered around tight, fast-paced platforming with a range of unique movement abilities that extends to its tense, precise, combat. Balance ground and air attacks, replete with combos and juggles as you encounter a variety of deadly enemies and challenging bosses. Find and unlock a wide array of powerful weapons and upgrades to bolster your arsenal and explore previously inaccessible areas.

Its a great game for the price. Looked very nice I just wish the collectibles were a bit easier to spot or identify or locate
everyone is so hot

Bit of a disappointing metroidvania. The aesthetics are beautiful and the music is great (very much in line with Heart Machine's early work) but the floaty, imprecise controls and clipped animations make the platforming and battles an absolute chore. Some movements feel genuinely incomplete (catching the nerve ladder is a good example, where Luca just teleports onto it SOMETIMES but, infuriatingly, detaches if you keep holding down the button???). Moving with the whip feels downright unfair at times. Also, if you put pits of death and other traps just below the character's field of view, let the player look down. Modern Castlevania and Metroid entries, Hollow Knight/Silk Song, MIO, all of them have had this silly feature forever, here it's just excluded? Why? Story-telling is subjective but, to me, it feels kinda'..... under-cooked? The world feels barren as you move from one point to the next. The writing is wooden and overwrought in a way that feels like early 2000's fan fiction. There's a general tendency towards luxuriating in misery that doesn't feel earned. Maybe it gets better towards the latter part of the game but I simply don't have the strength. For what it's worth: it runs ok on the Steam Deck (though it's surprisingly resource-intensive). Maybe that contributed to the choppy controls? Who knows.
I really want to like Possessor(s) but movement in this game is so frustratingly stiff that I'm just not enjoying my time with it.
I really enjoyed it despite being a slightly flawed experience. Combat was very fun and fast paced(if you use certain weapons, the other options feel slightly bad) while also being souls/sekiro inspired and platforming was fun and smooth. Story was ok, slightly edgy. Art is good and the designs of characters and enemies and weapons were interesting and mostly based on random stuff you could find in buildings(though I wish there were more standard enemies since I feel like you see all of them halfway through). Main criticism is the map, it's very bad and doesn't reflect the actual terrain at all. Still had a lot of fun and especially with the bosses, mostly chill with some slight challenge in between on the standard difficulty(and there's either that or easy)
Loved the story and art, the game-play was a little clunky at times but was never horrible or overly frustrating.
Warning: frame lags are real... dodging and parrying is a pain in the butt. Other than that, I did enjoy the game overall. If there's a neutral option I'd probably have gone with that tho. The plot is alright, and the ending is a good setup for a second installment. But many of the lines felt rushed and definitely could've been better written. The art is top notch, altho the nose blood on Luca's character becomes really annoying (that or just my OCD?)... after Rhem healed her she could've definitely cleaned up that one line of blood that was driving me crazy, lol. I didn't mind the back tracking because I don't think this was meant to be a speed clear game. The maps are fairly well built for a one-off game, however, I see the potential for the map to be at least 2x larger if all the rooms, cracks, and doors held additional rooms. I've never relied on game maps for too much so I think the existing labels are more than sufficient. Since most resources are single-use, there wasn't too much need in using special labels and marks. Overall, 6.5 out of 10 type of game.
