[h1]Краткий экскурс [/h1] Спин-офф, что называется, на любителя. Его легко можно пройти за один вечер и при этом вполне неплохо развлечься. Радует разнообразие врагов и игровых механик на уровнях, но вот с боссами кошмар - они получились душными и не особо интересными в прохождении. Артхаусный стиль в целом зашёл, да и само по себе довольно забавно видеть Serious Sam в формате платформера.

I was not expecting to enjoy this game, but I somehow liked it more than the traditional Serious Sam games. You'd wonder how the Serious formula would translate into a 2D environment -it turns out, quite well! Enemies that spawn out of thin air don't blindside you like they do in the 3D games. You have full visibility on the screen, so no more cheeky nonsense. The hordes of enemies don't drag the pace down as unlike the 3D entries, here you can just keep on moving; rooms where you have to clear every last enemy are few and far between. Much appreciated change that keeps some semblance of good pacing which 3D Serious games completely lack. The weapon combining mechanic, Gunstacker I believe it is called, is goofy in the best possible way. There are many upgrades you can buy that change how the weapons function, although I did feel like the cash to do so can be pretty tight. The enemy designs are very silly, par for the course with this franchise. Having 3m tall women with bombs for boobs rushing you down and monkeys with jetpacks that throw bananas at you... you can tell the devs were having lots of fun. My criticisms for DDXXL would be: • The controls, with Jump especially seemingly getting stuck for whatever reason. There is also a general clunk to everything, but it isn't too bad. • Like every other Serious Sam I've played, it feels like it drags way too long for how fast the novelty wears out. For me that happened somewhere in the middle of Act 2, about 3 hours into the game. Getting 100% was quite the slog. Surprisingly, kind of a sleeper hit, at least relatively speaking considering Serious Sam standards. Slop is the name of the game with this series, yet DDXXL punches above its weight. I wouldn't say anyone should be in a rush to get it, but it is an okay filler game.

This game is art. It's a worthy entry in the Serious Sam series and way better than SS3 or 4... I had so much fun, the secrets are hilarious, the gameplay is crazy, music and sound effects are all from OG Serious Sam games + the story is funny as hell. Highly recommended. You will love it no matter if you're playing by yourself or with friends. It's time to get serious!

Вообще не зашло, хотя технически сделана нормально — без танцев с бубном перед запуском, багов, лагов, софтлоков и прочего. Итак: — Не люблю сайдскроллеры (можно на этом было бы и закончить, но, как любитель хорватских лепёшек, считаю должным продолжать); — Стилизация абсолютно всего лютейший кал, включая новых мобов и боссов. Это как Serious Sam 2, но с потугами разрабов в оригинальность — ИМХО, не вышло. Выглядят последние дёшево, безвкусно. Особенно боссы. — Анимации всего этого тоже ccанина; — Музыка УГ + стыренные треки с других частей; — Концепт с каркасом из кучи пушек поначалу звучит интересно, но по итогу всё упирается в тупой спам, что со стороны игрока, что со стороны врагов; — Абсолютно конченные секреты с использованием говнянoго платформинга; — Ублюдские типичные для сайдскроллеров чалленджи в стиле "пропрыгай через 20 платформ толщиной в два пикселя", "выживи в гovномесиве из пикселей" и тому подобное. В этой игре хорошо одно: её можно пробежать буквально за пару вечеров на x2 скорости (не чит, а фича) и выбить платину с одного прохождения с гайдами + скрипя зубами пройдя не самые сложные, но противные чалленджи. Мой вам совет: не будьте перфекционистами. А если Вы перфекционист или имеете подобные наклонности — не покупайте паки, набитые всяким дерьмом, кроме игр, которые вам реально интересны. ИМХО, эта поделка не стоит времени ни рандомов, ни фанатов Сэма. Выбил платину и снёс эту подливу навсегда, скрыв в библиотеке — не рекомендую.

This is a lighthearted semi-review after one session. This is a sidescroller shooter and it is very fun to play. If it is on sale, go for it. You will probably like this game. RECOMMENDED!

La buena noticia es que su mejor cara está en un jugador y en el cooperativo local/Remote Play Together, donde el desorden es parte del encanto. Y con 642 recomendaciones totales, claramente no eres el único con gusto por la violencia caricaturesca.
