Sam & Max: Beyond Time and Space

In this day and age, finding an amazing point-and-click adventure that is also funny is extremely rare. I am so incredibly lucky that I have managed to find this gem. Even if you are stuck, the game can give you enough hints to find the solution, but the strong part of the game is the duo of Sam and Max, who share one idiotic brain cell but are so entertaining to listen to that you are almost encouraged to try any item combination and click on anything to listen to what kind of nonsense Sam will tell. I really should check the animated series; it gives me nostalgia for old cartoons from the 90s. I will definitely try other episodes as well.

If you liked the first game you'll like this one, it just continues the story after the last case in the previous game, and both the story and the solution to the puzzles are wackier than ever. Thats probably the only con for this one, that some solutions are way too weird for reaching them in a logic way. Ran perfectly on my steam deck, you might need to use the cursor to press the launcher button, but performance ingame is flawless and it works with controllers too. Worth grabbing if you played the first one, if you haven't played that one, pick the first one and the rest after you finished it, since you would be missing some important info for this game and the next one.

Great game, maybe im just stupid but some puzzles were a bit tough. I'd say its funnier than the first game.

the fairly faithful continuation of the last game except with the advent of a lot more daring ideas like time travel, portals and more outlandish unique new locations, concepts and characters; which Is why its probably my favourite in the trilogy, its on the same page as save the world with many more things fleshed out and more to add. the devils playhouse is technically the end but it also does its own thing so save the world and beyond time and space are kind of seperate and self contained games.
