purchased after beating the game as it piqued my interest. Okay writing. Only left negative review because a lot of the interactive content in the book just dosen't work so paying $2 for content that does not work right is annoying. However, a lot of people are complaining that it is a waste and should not exist, I disagree. It provides an interesting insight into game development at a major studio. Wish I could rate it higher but paying for broken content is not right

For anyone curious, this is NOT extra content, it's simply a article about how Portal 1 & 2 were developed. It's a good read (3 hours for me), if you are interested to get a glimpse into the production then definitely get it, pretty sure it's bundled with Portal 2 anyway. One thing to note it that a lot of the interactive things and most videos don't work, and for the few that do work the audio is very jittery, actual article is fine though

A lot of the web elements are broken now. And honestly, it's really badly written - I'd forgotten that Geoff Keighley did this, but I came in with an open mind as I like a lot of game books. Most of those are expensive £30 things, but at least they're a good time. I'd recommend people get A Profound Waste Of Time issue 4, which tells the same story but better written, and more time has passed for the creators to reflect on it. Should have been a PDF.

Be informed that this is not a game. This is actually a book showing how portal 2 was made. I mean its dirt cheap to get it, so just buy it after playing the game.

who actually needs this? i got mistaken that this was the actual portal 2 game. should never buy
