About
Voxel Eras is a first-person factory builder about progressing through eras of technology. You'll gather resources, process them into more products, build new machines in progressively advancing technological eras, and combining them into production lines to let the machines do the work for you in your ever growing workshop.
Build with friends in Multiplayer CO-OP (or by yourself in Singleplayer if you're more into that) in the game's fully modifiable Voxel world, working to face the ever growing complexities of technology as you work your way through the Eras. If you're wanting something fresh you can also try Modding, where scripting allows you to create your own tailored experience.
Will you conquer the Eras?

Great expectations-extremely low delivery. Game presents itself as being much further along, when in fact, you can ONLY auto mine resources. There is not an ERA system in place as it is mentioned/suggested in the game forums. Essentially, you set down miners, pipe the resource to a storage chest and once you have done this for the 5 resources, you are done. We had such great expectations for this game, we are not able to run MC on our current PC's anymore and we hoped this would be a nice replacement and run better since it is through Steam. This was a waste of $32 (2 copies).
Imagine Factorio, Satisfactory, and Minecraft had a bastard child, and that child is deformed and still developing, but you don't really care about the defects, because you are also autistic and games like these are akin to snorting crack cocaine. This game has made me forget to eat food and there are pipes running everywhere. Now we just need trains, geothermal power, nuclear power, spider bots, and a rocket ship.
Quick Take
Voxel Eras may look like a blocky Minecraft cousin, but that resemblance evaporates once you spawn in. From minute one the game shoves you toward automation nirvana: gather, smith, pipe-spam, repeat—no quest nanny needed because every tooltip practically screams the next recipe at you. --- Voxel Eras only pretends to be Minecrafty on the title screen. Two steps later you’re in full factory fever—controls you already muscle-memorized, yet everything pushes you toward bigger, clangier contraptions. Surface ores glitter like candy, but manual-mining is sloooow until you build the right drills, so quit pokin’ and start crankin’. Thonk.

Day-one automation — gear-driven machines before the first sunset, no grindy quest chains holding your hand.
Learning by osmosis — the UI practically whispers recipes in your ear; you’ll know what to craft before you know you know.
Solo-dev hustle — every purchase fans the update furnace, so toss ’em a few bucks and watch the game evolve.
Tiny gripe: the background track from the trailer is the in-game music, and after an hour it drilled straight into my skull—do yourself a favor and slap that slider down to zero, then cue up your own beats.
finally we are getting standalone video games based on tekkit/ic2 i have been waiting for ages now i hope the deep dives into hyper complex things with this game down the track i am looking forward to seeing updates
extremely chill factory game experience. no mobs, no hunger, only pure factory. super cute artstyle and sound design that gives brain activation in just the right way. install voxel eras if you want peak simulation of catboy world domination
Soon I found myself crafting entire stacks of material. Very Greg, much wow! Albeit still a bit raw, this has a ton of potential.
could be a good game, last update killed the performance though so i wont be playing until its optimized
At the time of writing this review, I have right around 15 hours in game. This game is a damn good time, content wise I finished all of the achievements in about 15 hours. I could have done it a little sooner had I worked more on expanding the factory, but let me tell you, I played this for nearly 9 hours straight the first day. I needed to do myself a favor, rest and come back at it with fresh eyes. The game has that Sid Meier's Civilization sense of "Just one more turn" but it's replaced with an equally great "Just one more machine" feeling that perfectly suits this game, and I love it. The Eras system is a lot of fun to interact with and for $15 you can't go wrong. I look forward to more updates! Edit: Should be noted, I played entirely on Steam Deck for those looking to pick this up on Steam Deck.
Developer is very responsive to potential issues and is very active with updates and content. a decent automation game with limited, but growing, content. Worth keeping an eye on.
very cool game conceptually, with INSANE moddability
