Tales Beyond The Tomb - The Farm's Secret

I do appreciate how this game gives us a creative take on how real-life serial killers committed their acts, I just think these games can use some polishing to give a better experience. With huge inspiration coming from Fears to Fathom, this episode begins to deviate a bit (a good thing) and I did enjoy it overall but there's some things to keep in mind for future games. THE GOOD: The game has an interesting story, very linear, sounds are good, tension and scares are good, low price + solid playtime (2 hours), graphics are intentionally low so don't expect amazing visuals. THE BAD: These may be small things for some, but I think future games can work on some areas in order to make the next episode a more fluid experience or just to be a bit more polished. **POTENTIAL SPOILERS SO BEWARE** In the beginning area with the food prep, it felt sort of "cheap" to go to a black screen every time you add an ingredient. I don't know anything about coding but I figure you can just make the item disappear from your hand and have it appear on the tray. The checkpoint system also feels a bit punishing to force the player to redo some tedious steps that aren't necessary to any specific outcomes in the game . Last, the entire last section took away some of the immersion for me. Some people might be able to complete it in one attempt, but it felt unnecessary to have random vases lying around, and sometimes the "pretend to be dead" action wouldn't work. POSSIBLE BUGS? I jokingly drove the car into a tree at the beginning of the game, and the "reverse" button "S" wouldn't work, so I was stuck and had to restart the game.

a short but very good Horror game. I recommend it. always exciting. always scary. I also like the soundtrack when you start the game. the game has more language to choose, even german. the price of this game is alright.

Kurzes aber tragisch grausames Spiel... und was das ganze noch viel schlimmer macht, ist, dass die Geschichte hier im Spiel auf einer wahren Begebenheit beruht. Jeden Tag verschwinden Weltweit Tausende Menschen. Und manche werden nie wieder gefunden... Der Mensch ist und bleibt das grausamste Wesen, was je gelebt hat. Kein anderes Wesen der Welt würde so schlimme Dinge tun. Auch ich wünsche mir, dass alle Menschen friedlich sind und dass man schlimme Geschichten nur aus Filmen oder Videospiele kennen würde. Aber keine Ahnung, was in der Evolution schief gelaufen ist... Bzw. manche Experten gehen davon aus, dass schon der sehr sehr frühe Mensch nicht viel anders war, wie die modernen Menschen heutzutage.

The episode 2 of TBTT is a short, yet explanative and quite a creepy story (which indeed, happened in real life), but this one felt more polished, less buggy than the first episode and overall, an enjoyable experience. It's also more gore-y, so... that's a warning.
