Polylithic is a survival game unlike any other, set in the most pivotal moment in mankind's history: the Stone Age. Experience life as a Paleolithic hunter-gatherer, settle down as a Neolithic farmer, form tribes in co-op multiplayer, or go at it alone in a world where we're not yet apex predators.

About

Polylithic is a survival game unlike any other, set in the Stone Age. Humans are not yet apex predators but one of many species living on Earth. You can be part of the change as a tribe leader, taking your people from Paleolithic hunting and gathering to building the first permanent settlements of the Neolithic age, paving the way for future civilizations.
But before that can happen, you will have to discover a world, craft the first proper tools and items in mankind’s history, research the first technologies that separated humans from other species, and build many villages for your tribe– helping them grow, prosper, and eventually settle down to let prehistory turn into history.
A Low-Poly World of Opportunity
The Polylithic universe is a vibrant place, with a world only barely touched by human presence. Search for resources in tall forests, snow-covered hills, and raging river rapids. Hunt all manner of animals to feed yourself and your tribe. A hint of sci-fi mystery lingers in this ancient world. Search for other human tribes (or what's left of them), learn from their mistakes, and build monuments in their memory, all set against a backdrop of vibrant colors and beautiful low-poly landscapes.
Prehistoric Survival
You will have to gather, craft, and hunt your way to survival in these colorful environments. Every animal is a challenge to track down, from the smallest rabbit to the tallest mammoth, as is finding the right resources. After all, this is the first time humanity has attempted it. How well would you fare in the wilderness?
Lay the Foundations of Civilization
You can experience Polylithic trying to survive on your own - or you can do what our ancestors did and form tribes. There's strength in numbers, and as the village leader, it will be your goal to look after your fellow tribesmen, take care of their needs and keep them happy. In return, they will work under your leadership, further growing the tribe, becoming Elders, and paving the way for the Neolithic Revolution.
Survive Together
Experience the prehistoric world with friends in the new multiplayer mode, supporting up to 10 players. Form your own tribe, share resources, and work together to hunt, build, and explore. Whether you coordinate as a group or strike out on your own path, multiplayer makes every survival story unique and unpredictable.

Still a WIP, but very much playable and enjoyable as it is. Polylithic is a very ambitious game and it's shaping up to be exactly the kind of game I've been wanting to play for years. If you're into prehistory like me and you like survival games then Polylithic is definitely worth checking out. It already has enough content for it's price and the development is active with frequent updates.

Early Access-Spiel Extrems.
Polylithic is an EA game that isn't worth playing at the present time, MEH
The game features beautiful graphics and a vibrant trivia atmosphere. It has great potential.

For an early access game, I think this has a lot of potential. It's entertaining and innovative in the way it develops. Love it!
This game is excellent I think. The graphics are decent and rather charming with excellent lighting and shaders. The characters in the campaign have very cool and creative names and outfits. There is limited character customization (which I appreciate both in it being there and being limited that way you will look accurate to the time period). The villages you can build are very cool looking and are accurate to the time period as far as I can tell. I also do very much like the beauty of the terrain and the different biomes; there are beautiful forests, grasslands, savannahs, deserts, and polar/snowy forests. There is a lot to explore and a lot to do, you'll never really be bored with this game. I also rather like the fact that, if you so choose, you may migrate your tribe to another spot on the map, this way you can be nomadic just as [most] people would've been back then. There are also a lot of resources to forage from so you can really lean into the hunter-gatherer lifestyle you are fulfilling (you'll be both hunting and gathering a lot xD). There's also a lot of animals ranging from fish, to aurochs, mammoths, elk, fish, rabbits, wolves, and bears! It's a lot of fun and very detailed I recommend giving this game a try, especially if you like survival games or if you like the Stone Age (both in its hunter-gatherer and agriculture renditions).
terrible
i get this is early access, but the amount of bugs and constant objectives not responding or working in any way makes this game unplayable.
