Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Sep 14 → 5.33/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Fully realized pilots – Recruit pilots with over 100 unique pilot traits and abilities which allow for in-depth buildcrafting and synergies with your mechs. With a new recruitment and class specialization system, expansive leveling with varied progression trees, combined with new visual customisation options, you can build your own flavor of deadly (and stylish) ace pilots.

Cinematic spin on the turn-based genre – Predict enemy movements, orchestrate precisely timed countermeasures, and hit “execute” to watch the physics-based action unfold in real time.
Extensive customization – Featuring a rich customization system, Phantom Brigade enables you to fine-tune the performance of your mechs, install a wide selection of equipment, and access a wealth of cosmetic options. Prepare your squad for any challenge - in style.
An expansive arsenal – Railguns, beam weapons, missiles, energy swords, and more! Rain destruction down upon your homeland’s invaders with weaponry salvaged from each enemy mech you defeat.
Strategic tactical combat – Make high-level tactical decisions on the world map, manage your mobile base, and decide how to apply your limited resources. Take command of your squad in varied missions ranging from sabotage of enemy equipment and convoy ambushes to liberation battles and challenging outpost onslaughts.
Destructible environments – It's not a proper game about giant mechs without destructible buildings! Phantom Brigade allows every square meter of each battle map to be destroyed. Shatter your enemy’s cover and collapse buildings on top of them!

It's really good, I'm coming to it at 2.0 which is a good time to join. I think it needs a few tweaks and I hope to see a 2.5 at least and hopefully 3.0. (btw you can access the 1.3 via beta update menu - I've not seen it yet but I'm sticking to 2.0). I've had one playthrough as of today. For people complaining of a difficulty spike - that's because you go to different areas which provide different techs, you'll encounter concussion which kills your pilots before the mechs... and Beam weapons which up close destroy mechs. There are work arounds. If it didn't get harder you wouldn't start to build more mechs. There's also weather to take into account. Beam weapons over heat a lot, and you kind of first get them in winter lands or at least I did. After you encounter concussion tech in hot lands where beams not going to work so well. It's all a learning experience. This is ALL the the promo vid. The most confusing thing on first play is the amount of mech armours and knowing which is better or what combinations and sub systems, so this is something that needs to be learned. And reactors. Heat management is the thing to learn. This does need a better explanation, with hands on play. **- it could really do with a training area to test new weapons and armour, movements. From the main menu and transport vehicle menu.** The in game feedback system is really goods and hopefully that's all being logged. Things to tweak: There's a lot of systems here, and the tweaks I would do would be to streamline reactor and thruster comparison- this effects movement distance and dash distance. - see the result in test area. Streamline swapping mech armour or sets to different frames. - you can waste a lot of time here swapping things around which is interesting but better to be in the action. Cross pollinate info on screens better. i.e Frame fractures, effects pilots have on mechs (huge), visual distance of dashes on mech screen, weight class with shields info. Mech reactor and thruster type displayed in battle. etc Real time damage in replays would be nice. Better camera options for tracking the action. It's fine but could be great. Your promo vid try's to do that. Workshop is the weakest area its not really there yet. There could be more landscape points of interest, and I seemed to be ending a map area too soon, even when I had 3 other missions to do, I'd beaten the clock so it would go straight to the end mission. I'd probably make melee against a downed mech at your feet easier too. Like a finisher move. Keep it up.

Je to dobrá hra, hezky promyšlená a zábavná. Děkuji :-)
2.0 is a good change, though there's a lot of forward pressure I don't really enjoy. The game constantly shoves you towards competing areas and puts time limits of everything. It isn't completely terrible, but you don't have an option of playing at your own pace, and your campaign can collapse if you can't keep up with it. The more linear maps are okay. The open world it used to be was a bit too confusing usually, so some direction was needed, but this is maybe too much. Combat feels a bit better though it still gets overwhelming. At first you fight peer or near-peer squads; 4v4, 4v6, etc. Soon you start fighting 4v10, 4v12, often with reinforcement waves. It's a lot to deal with, especially if enemies use niche equipment, like focusing pilot damage, or ignoring cover. I'm going to say it's a good game, but it needs more work still.
x com but with fighting robots
Good overall! Satisfying progression, fun weapon variety. I wish melee attacks were less difficult and fiddly to aim. It's also really easy to accidentally smash your mechs into each other. If you adjust the timing of movement actions on the timeline it's easy to not notice a collision that now will happen earlier. And, the minimum effective range on the sniper rifle is too restrictive. Apart from that, good game so far.
