Very Nancy Drew-inspired. I loved the framing of the story itself-it felt contained within the hotel while still managing to feel expansive; take that as you will The characters were fun to figure out, though I wish they had more interactivity and sauce, the ending(s) were satisfying, but their presentation felt a bit dull. Overall, it was a fun mystery to solve, and hunting down all the different endings was a bit ehhh...dramatic. I'm one of those deviants after all
It was hard to play the straight route to 100% the game, it was homophobic that I had to do that.
LOVE this game. Nancy Drew vibes but in 3rd person and love the plot choices. highly recommend and cant wait for the second!
This Bed We Made is a refreshing detective adventure that turns one of the oldest guilty pleasures into a game mechanic: snooping through other people's belongings. Set in a stylish 1950s Montreal hotel, it blends noir mystery, light puzzles, meaningful choices, and excellent environmental storytelling into a short but memorable experience. It's not perfect, but it absolutely deserves more attention.

🟢 PROS

Fantastic Atmosphere: The 1950s hotel is full of personality. Every room tells a story, and the noir-inspired presentation constantly keeps you curious about what you'll discover next.
Engaging Detective Gameplay: Searching guests' belongings, piecing together clues, and deciding what information to reveal or hide makes you feel like an amateur detective rather than simply following quest markers.
Excellent Environmental Storytelling: Much of the narrative is told through letters, photographs, receipts, diaries, and personal belongings. Exploring feels genuinely rewarding.
Well-Written Characters: Both hotel staff and guests feel believable, with convincing dialogue and relationships that slowly unfold throughout the story.
Meaningful Choices: Your decisions influence relationships and lead to multiple endings, making your investigation feel personal instead of purely scripted.
Strong Voice Acting: The performances sell both the mystery and the emotional moments, adding a surprising amount of charm to every conversation.

🔴 CONS

Quite Short: A single playthrough lasts around 5 hours. While there are multiple endings, many players will wish there was simply more game.
Limited Challenge: Most puzzles are enjoyable but rarely difficult, and important clues are often easy to find.
Technical Rough Edges: Facial animations and character movement can feel stiff, reminding you this is an indie production.

💰 VALUE FOR MONEY
Very Good - While it's a relatively short adventure, every hour is packed with atmosphere, mystery, and memorable storytelling. If you enjoy narrative-driven detective games like Life is Strange, [i>Telling Lies, or classic point-and-click mysteries, this is an easy recommendation. It's even better if you can grab it during a sale.

⭐ 8/10
A stylish noir mystery with memorable characters, satisfying detective work, and a hotel full of secrets. It may be short, but it's a journey well worth checking into.
It's...fine. It has heart, and it's clear that the devs care about marginalized people, which is nice. I can see the story they want to tell, and it's a good and well-intentioned one. Unfortunately the game is possessed of underwhelming execution and a mystery whose conclusion certainly feels
possible but unsatisfying
to uncover. As far as gameplay goes, well, I expected attention to detail to matter, to the point that I avoided any cleaning duties in a room that had been marked "do not disturb", thinking that showing any sign of having snooped around would land Sophie (the player character) in hot water. As it turns out, there are no consequences for leaving a mess behind. Unless
that mess is a result of the player choosing not to dispose of evidence. Don't get me wrong, I'm a big "be gay, do crime" guy. I just wholly was not expecting that to be the solution up until credit roll.
Still, I'm looking forward to what Lowbirth Studios is cooking up next. I think they have a lot more to offer.

A very fun and enjoyable game
Great mystery game I will admit that I only played This Bed we made, because I was intrigued by the premise: playing as a maid in the 50s resolving a mystery. That is quite rare and the game delivers in the interesting experience that it can be. The mix of searching the rooms, while also having to take care of cleaning things and thinking what can get you into trouble make it into a very different experience if you were a cop or a detective. The story as all good mysteries, is full of twists, drama and new relationships that change what you thought the plot was going to be, and it keeps the interest until the very end. The characters are great, both the main character Sophia, the secondary ones and even the ones that you don’t see and only read in documents. And I love how the 50s are not just there for the aesthetic, but also explores themes and issues from the era, that sadly are still relevant to this day. The only issue is that the facial animations may not be the best and is a bit confusing what you have to do to get the best ending, but for the most part, what you have to do is logical and understandable. Overall, a pretty good game. A bit short, but it has some relaplayable depending on the choices you make across the game. If you love mystery games, this is a good catch. 8.7/10
