If happiness had a face, it would be this game. I love everything about it, and it helps me relax after a long day at work or a difficult exam.
h2] TLDR: Buy The Game!
I have been meaning to do a review of this game for a long time but I kept playing the game rather than write a review. I can't recommend this game enough. Its an extremely unique blend of bullet hell with resource management, rogue like elements, and a big dash of base building. Back when I first started playing it took me a handful of deaths to get the hang of it but once I did the game became extremely addictive. Absolutely worth the money with how replayable it is. I find myself opening Steam, seeing Atomicrops in my recently played and getting the itch. At the time of this review I have 222 hours and I can guarantee that will increase consistently. Props to the devs on this incredibly fun gem. Please make a sequel or more DLC!
Such an underrated game. Amazing art style. Great soundtrack - it's so many games all rolled into one, farming, bullet hell, management, builds. If you enjoy games that have so much going on it consumes every fiber of your brain this is the game for you, very challenging but so awesome! Great work 🩷
Jogo maravilhoso! poderia ter mais DLCs e expansão de conteúdos.
The moment-to-moment gameplay is OK, but in the end the juddering of the screen movement (scrolling) was, I found, quite sickening. It's also incredibly grindy and there's too much micro-management involved, to the point where I found it quickly became tiresome and further eroded any fun. Upgrades cost too much, seeds are too few and growing them felt like a chore. I also found the music and sfx borderline unpleasant & what with the constant screen judder and sheer grindiness of the gameplay, this was quickly uninstalled. I think I picked this up in a Humble Bundle but the RRP seems to be over £10 which I find surprising. Overall it feels like a relic from the 16-bit age but not one which I would remember fondly.
I Atomic Crop dust old ladies at Krogers
This game has a huge learning curve, but it's absolutely rewarding once things start to click. The first time I played this game, I got discouraged and hung it up for a couple months. I revisited it, and suddenly found myself dumping dozens of hours into it before taking another break and repeating. It's deceptively fun like that.
This game is simply AMAZING if you give it a shot!! You may need a minute to adjust to all the intricacies and upgrades, but once you get a flow, you can REALLY plan for incredible strategies!! I HAVEN'T GOTTEN MARRIED YET, BUT IM DAMN CLOSE!!!! ROMANCE HERE I COMEEEE!
