Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Sep 14 → 5.33/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
Very realistic depiction of 2036 Ruzzo - Finnish liberation war. Especially the poorly equipped outdated models being thrown at you in large quantities just to " drown you in blood " . Also simply enjoyable B game. Yes, it lacks variety over 30-40 hour long campaign and kind of outstays it's welcome and yes the final mission is kind of meh, but it is still quite unique and has proper depth to mech builds. Mech tuning can go so deep that your sharpshooter can shift from making 2 shots a turn to shooting non-stop at the cost of not moving and catching fire any instant it has to actually move. Maybe your pilot actually likes catching fire tho, who knows what went wrong with him during past 20 years.
It's like battletech a bit, but much faster. The fights are beautiful and different weapons feel impactful. Really liking it.

I generally prefer turn-based games like XCOM over simultaneous-move games like Frozen Synapse. However, I had a lot of fun playing this. (I started playing after the "2.0" update, so I can't comment on the earlier state of the game. I selected the standard difficulty level for my campaign.) The game is played in 5-second rounds. Both sides enter a series of movement and attack/defense commands into a timeline for each of their units, and when you hit "go", everything moves at once. The key difference between this games and many others in the genre is that a "prediction engine" allows you to see the enemy's planned moves, so you can plan your moves to counter theirs. I like this approach much better than what most other similar games do, because if you don't know what's going to happen next you spend a lot of time hiding in cover and covering angles where nothing actually happens. While the no-knowledge approach is more realistic, the way Phantom Brigade handles it feels more dynamic and gives you a greater sense of control. Essentially you have the same "I know where everything is" that turn-based gives you, with the fluidity of simultaneous movement. If you get blown up, it's because you made bad choices, not because you got mildly aggressive and guessed wrong. Mech battles are an excellent choice for this approach, because you have slow-moving missiles that fly in a high arc, and fast-moving projectiles and beam weapons. With a turn-based game like BATTLETECH, everything happens in the same turn, regardless of projectile speed. (Some turn-based games try to simulate this by having an "incoming big damage" alert that forces you to move.) This could be a bit overwhelming when under fire from multiple enemies, but the game does a great job of showing incoming attacks as you scrub through the predicted actions on the timeline. The planning and review UI is excellent, though I wish it did a better job of warning you when you were about to slam two of your mechs together. It shows the collision when you scrub back and forth, but I'd love an "are you sure you want to do that" warning, because you can seriously cripple the lighter mech. Also, the use of melee weapons is non-obvious and mildly baffling. The game has a few technical issues and missing features, the most glaring of which is the inability to save mid-mission (though this is apparently getting addressed in a "2.1" update). Some of the missions can take 45 minutes, so don't start one if you have places to be. Fortunately, it never crashed. When launched, the game spends 15-20 seconds apparently doing nothing, making you wonder if it's running at all. The unit editor allows you to compare components, but sometimes changes made to a component (upgrading or switching modules) aren't reflected immediately. It's a fun game, recommended for strategy gamers, even the die-hard turn-based folks.
I'd like to ask the devs to get a control scheme for steam deck up and running I do like the game but difficult to do stuff since there's no real layout for me to use on steam deck
这种回合制我认为可以推广,但是游戏本身仍存在内容不足等诸多问题,以及建议取消资源上限设置,鼓励一下吧
アップデート2.0素晴らしい!
Good game!
This is a decently fun game that allow mods to change things up. I had a warhammer weapons mod that made the game harder (and more interesting). The base game however was great. Now onto the 2.0 version with a new mods.
如果能加强一下打击感和语音对话就更好了
Cool mechanic but shallow
