great game to pass time on a boring day and skill level is tuff at times
Very Fun! Graphics are nice, controls are smooth and its a great game so far!
if your internet has the slightest hiccup you will be tossed from the game in an instant with no hopes or getting rewards or reconnecting. Terrible creation.
fun
Great golf game, those complaining about clunky UI & HUD issues; don't see it. It's pretty demanding on graphics/video card, must have a solid rig to run smoothly.
Picked up for the first time since The Golf Club and still, HB is doing a great job of simulating the sport. Each shot is a puzzle that you do your best to solve with the information you have. Now with more unique executions for each shot. The difficulty is super customizable. You can start with the easiest swing settings and with most information turned on. Then, as you improve, you turn the swing difficulty up, build better muscle memory, and take away information little by little as you get a feel for the game. It is immersive and the presentation is great, reminding me of things I loved about NFL 2K back in the day. Graphics have improved a lot since back in the day. Between the course creator, the community, and the close simulation gameplay, this game is pretty much endless. Grew up playing sports games and abandoned them after NFL 2K went away and microtransactions and myteam creeped in. This series is the closest thing to remind me of those good old days. Unfortunately, 2K added an arbitrary, basic leveling and club rarity/club socketing system to encourage microtransactions for power. Luckily at this stage of the game and for the cheap price I got it for, I haven't had any trouble and the game was well worth it. If you are wanting to play a lot of ranked online matches going in, I think you will be affected by this grind way more and would encourage you to leave ranked as an endgame goal. Don't buy VC please. But in terms of joining different leagues, chilling with friends, and playing my career when alone, the difficulty adjustments can be tailored to counteract your lower starting stats and equipment while you level. Because each aspect of the game was given a stat, some stats affect your shots way more, so be sure to look at guides, builds, and suggestions from others.
really good game..
The actual golf game play is good, but can be too easy if you play the lowest difficulty levels. Shooting -50 for a tournament is a bit unrealistic as well as averaging a 56/round average. Up the difficulty and that solves the scoring issue pretty quick. Those parts of the game I like. There's a lot about this game that is annoying. Getting new clubs should be automatic with a new sponsor, but it's not. If Ping for example wants to sponsor me with clubs, why would they not give me a set to replace my 2K set? The "rival" feature is absurd as well. Constantly interrupting your game flow to show them hitting a good shot is annoying. Also, why would Lydia Ko be a full time member of the PGA tour and my rival? The "leveling up" of your character is absurd as well. This is a sports game, not an RPG. You naturally get better at the game the more you play it, no need to artificially make your character better with "boosts" or whatnot. We're not slaying dragons here, just the course. Remove all of the extra nonsense and stick to golf and this is an above average game. But with all of the garbage piled on, I don't see me getting the next iteration.
Great game with a team mate lots of fun and banter....Get in the bunker lmao.
