For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Super
Brings the macro scale, Total Annihilation style base building to the city builder/colony management genre. Enjoyed the narrative, tells a story from an interesting perspective. UI has some oddities but overall very playable and nicely presented. Only piece of advice I would give a new player is this, it does not tell you an actual objective for your terraforming process, it just kinda sets you loose on it. But if you look up the composition of the earths atmosphere it's very easy to find the values you should be aiming for and the process is pretty easy in the game.
It's a good game, but it's not diamond-hard science fiction terraforming game sadly. Nor as poetic as the softish science fiction trilogy that inspired this. Anyhow - sucked me in despite failing twice due to worker number death spirals, because with all the DLC you can see your work unfold and watch Mars change and evolve. Best played without centralising stuff though and the logistics is fairly simplistic and a bit opaque when it comes to dealing with workers. Never mind ships :P Overall though, a very moreish game, just wish it was a bit more hard-sci-fi and we had more options vis logistics. Also, I really, really want to rename "Hyperloops" to "High Speed Trains", because Dilbert Stark's idea is stupid and failed. Just as all other vacuum train systems have failed, because maintain a vacuum is hard at the scales required. Oh and upgrades for water treatment plants :P DLC are also well worth getting.
Ad Astra!
This is a gem!! of a game! Bravo!
A pretty good 'resource management' game. It's not really a city builder, you'll want surviving mars for that, but it's a pretty good 'terraforming simulator' that simulates the bigger picture. The story-driven campaign is also pretty good. It isn't really a choose your own adventure, but it offers a compelling story while playing.
I've played the game through twice (Without Blue Mars), and I enjoyed it both times through. I probably restarted twice in all that too. I run by a rule of basic success equaling $1-2 per hour of play time. I also am pretty critical of enjoying the game. I have a huge backlog and have learned to abuse the "Meh, I'm not having fun" concept, and blowing past non-nominal fun. So, this game excelled in the fun per $$. I got about $0.10 per hour of enjoyment.
