I would love this game and I did at the start but, well there are so many problems. 1 - Road Network. It is such a pain in the arse it's messy and ugly and placements of some of the roads just make you say WTF why did you place a road there as you can't do it yourself. It also makes logistics worse. I would love to have a set up where I can have robots take one way and be done with it. 2 - It's so messy you can't find anything most of all when the mines run out. That is luck you'll look closely at something then see 4 of your mines are done, that's also when you check the factory and its not making anything then it snowballs and you scramble to fix it before it gets worse. This also counts for the space view. 3 - It's boring. I got to the end of the game and its when all the problems show themselves even more and it drove me at least nuts and is why am doing this. 4 - You have a whole build chain that's just useless and pointless. You have drones to use as an army but guess what you use them like three times and that's it, it would of been so much fun if say a mate could join you're game build up their forces and you can battle for control of Mars but no soon as you're done with the three base that's it you can just get rid of all buildings and factories for them. This could of been great, I really think more work is needed for this game also the dlc which I didn't get coz ♥♥♥♥ you it should be in the game ABOUT TERRAFORMING MARS

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The workers are responsible for both construction and transporting materials from mines to factories to construction sites, with a binary button controlling whether a given building is a "priority" as the only means of influencing their action. Building more workers requires worker hubs which can support exactly ONE worker per hub, and only in a given range around the hub. This basically results in placing one building, setting the game speed to max, and waiting several minutes for it to eventually get the resources it needs and get built. You don't even get to know what resources are where until you build a specific building near it, so I can't even eye the rest of the map looking for good expansion sites.
It's fine. Has some good ideas, but the end result is "fine". Don't worry about how your cities look. It will always form a blob of buildings and streets running all over the place. Looks awful, and resources reach where they should eventually anyway. It has some combat, just make a blob bigger than your enemies and throw it at them. Transport of stuff is a serious problem in this game. Because this is ThE fUtUrE, you can't have a train, truck or any reasonable medium of transportation. You have pods. Each pod can transport ONE resource through ONE road, so resource transport is slow and bottlenecks are frequent. Just add more pods to the blob until flow of resources resumes, so not a terrible thing. The problem is the hyperloops. They are ALSO pods, just faster, so they suck and are usually a bottleneck. Put normal roads on top of the hyperloop, and normal pods will transport resources that the hyperloop going and coming full speed trasnporting ONE RESOURCE EACH TIME just can't. The Blob keeps growing. If you ever wondered why we don't have hyperloops, play this game. Besides that, there's some cool ideas here, but the core of the game is... fine. It's fun for a while. Oh, also, the plot. It's also fine. Promises a lot, but I feel it doesn't do a lot and it kinda ends.
great relaxing game
Nice, especially on sale. Enjoyable and takes around 20h to finish the story, which is surprisingly good. Can have quite a bit downtime though where you just sit and wait for something to finish.
Buggy for me. Buildings keep halting production and output even when at full input, has maintenance, and power. Constant issues with this less than 2 hours in, which is really a shame because I was really liking the game until all this happened. Also... building limits? Seriously? Come on Devs.
I like this game in terms of its presentation and management system. I expected that i would need to look after the human population and fullfill different needs for them like in anno. Thankfully i did not need to babysit the population like in other games. Furthermore i needed multiple hours until i realized that all powersources are safe, do not have an upkeep and that the only difference is the built cost to power ratio. The game is besides some other smaller details quite simple and intuitive. I had my fun building out my colony, the story events are manageble (i expected them to be more difficult but this is likely because i played games like Frostpunk or Ixion) and the experience of the game is overall more relaxed. I tried playing another playthrough but it feels more like a one time and done game since i already knew the exact outcome of events and how the planet changes. The mods and dlc of the game of the game are nothing too major but i can recommend them. The extra content is mostly about adding extra buildings especially for better transportation and are thus optional.
